LAHORE: According to Senior Member Board of Revenue (SMBR) Zahid Akhtar, the Gujrat-Sambrial-Kharian Motorway will be finished in two years. Akhtar held a meeting to go over the status of the project. (Reported by news source)
Akhtar was informed about the highway work by the cops. He demanded that the parties concerned complete the motorway alignment as quickly as feasible and that the DCs immediately turn over the required land to the authorities.
He claimed that the 69-kilometer Gujrat-Sambrial-Kharian road will be advantageous to the neighborhood's residents and business community.
A 35-kilometer length of the highway is being built as part of phase 1 and has started from Kharian. Akhtar gave the deputy commissioners the order to begin building the connection roads connecting the cities to it.
The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project's Hyderabad-Sukkur Motorway M-6 construction has also received government approval.
The project will take 30 months to complete, according to the specifics. In addition to 82 bridges over canals, 19 overpass bridges, 6 flyovers, and 10 service areas, it will have 15 interchanges and one significant bridge over the Indus River.

انہوں نے دعویٰ کیا کہ 69 کلومیٹر طویل گجرات تا سمبڑیال کھاریاں سڑک محلے کے رہائشیوں اور تاجر برادری کے لیے فائدہ مند ثابت ہو گی۔
شاہراہ کی 35 کلو میٹر لمبائی فیز 1 کے حصے کے طور پر بنائی جا رہی ہے اور اس کا آغاز کھاریاں سے ہوا ہے۔ اختر نے ڈپٹی کمشنرز کو شہروں کو اس سے ملانے والی رابطہ سڑکوں کی تعمیر شروع کرنے کا حکم دیا۔
چائنا پاکستان اکنامک کوریڈور (CPEC) منصوبے کے حیدرآباد سکھر موٹروے M-6 کی تعمیر کو بھی حکومت کی منظوری مل گئی ہے۔
تفصیلات کے مطابق اس منصوبے کو مکمل ہونے میں 30 ماہ لگیں گے۔ نہروں پر 82 پلوں، 19 اوور پاس پل، 6 فلائی اوور اور 10 سروس ایریاز کے علاوہ، اس میں 15 انٹر چینجز اور دریائے سندھ پر ایک اہم پل ہوگا۔
