Illegal structures to be demolished at Jalozai Housing Scheme

Peshawar Commissioner Riaz Khan Mehsud chaired the meeting which was attended by Housing Secretary Usman Ali Shah and other officials of the district administration and Provincial Housing Authority (PHA).

The meeting was told that houses had been constructed on 400 kanals land without planning in the Jalozai Housing Scheme which comprises an area of 9,995 kanals. The meeting was told that the ill-planned houses had affected the structure of the entire housing society.

The participants of the meeting were informed that the district administration had tried multiple times to get the houses vacated but did not take action to avoid a law and order situation.

The PHA was directed to conduct a survey and provide compensation to the owners of the houses to ensure the completion of the project in accordance with the plan.

The officials were asked to provide compensation to the owners of the houses who had constructed houses without the authority’s approval.

کمشنر پشاور ریاض خان محسود نے اجلاس کی صدارت کی جس میں سیکرٹری ہاؤسنگ عثمان علی شاہ اور ضلعی انتظامیہ اور صوبائی ہاؤسنگ اتھارٹی (پی ایچ اے) کے دیگر حکام نے شرکت کی۔

اجلاس کو بتایا گیا کہ جلوزئی ہاؤسنگ سکیم میں بغیر منصوبہ بندی کے 400 کنال اراضی پر مکانات تعمیر کیے گئے ہیں جو کہ 9995 کنال رقبہ پر مشتمل ہے۔ اجلاس کو بتایا گیا کہ غیر منصوبہ بند گھروں نے پوری ہاؤسنگ سوسائٹی کے ڈھانچے کو متاثر کیا ہے۔

اجلاس کے شرکاء کو بتایا گیا کہ ضلعی انتظامیہ نے کئی بار مکانات خالی کروانے کی کوشش کی لیکن امن و امان کی صورتحال سے بچنے کے لیے کوئی کارروائی نہیں کی۔

پی ایچ اے کو ہدایت کی گئی تھی کہ وہ سروے کرے اور گھروں کے مالکان کو معاوضہ فراہم کرے تاکہ منصوبے کے مطابق منصوبے کی تکمیل کو یقینی بنایا جا سکے۔

حکام سے کہا گیا کہ وہ ان مکانوں کے مالکان کو معاوضہ فراہم کریں جنہوں نے اتھارٹی کی منظوری کے بغیر مکانات تعمیر کیے تھے۔
