Illegal allotment of plots: NAB requests rejection of plea for the accused

Accountability Court-II judge Muhammad Azam Khan did not approve NAB’s request and said the application will be decided by the court after hearing the defendant’s argument. Due to the defendant, Amjad Iqbal Qureshi’s unavailability the case was adjourned till July 6.

The NAB prosecutor, while arguing before the court against the application of the accused regarding the territorial jurisdiction of the Court for further proceedings of instant reference, said the case fell under the jurisdiction of that court. He requested the court to dismiss the application.

The judge, however, remarked that the court will decide the application, after hearing the defendant’s arguments. The hearing has been adjourned by the court until 6^th July.

احتساب عدالت II کے جج محمد اعظم خان نے نیب کی درخواست منظور نہیں کی اور کہا کہ عدالت مدعا علیہ کا دلائل سننے کے بعد درخواست پر فیصلہ کرے گی۔ مدعا علیہ امجد اقبال قریشی کی عدم دستیابی کے باعث کیس کی سماعت 6 جولائی تک ملتوی کر دی گئی۔
نیب پراسیکیوٹر نے فوری ریفرنس کی مزید کارروائی کے لیے عدالت کے علاقائی دائرہ اختیار سے متعلق ملزم کی درخواست کے خلاف عدالت میں دلائل دیتے ہوئے کہا کہ کیس اس عدالت کے دائرہ اختیار میں آتا ہے۔ انہوں نے عدالت سے درخواست خارج کرنے کی استدعا کی۔
تاہم جج نے ریمارکس دیے کہ عدالت مدعا علیہ کے دلائل سننے کے بعد درخواست پر فیصلہ کرے گی۔ عدالت نے کیس کی سماعت 6 جولائی تک ملتوی کردی۔
