ICCI Urged the Govt. to Reduce Property tax on Plots

President Musharraf Janjua and Secretary-General Salawar Khan Afridi, along with a delegation of Traders Welfare Association, Auto Market Sector I-10/3 went to ICCI and kept their key issue before the authorities. 

ICCI President Sardar Yasir Ilyas Khan, while addressing the delegation, said that Capital Development Authority (CDA) has now initiated development works in markets and also assured them that the development in the auto parts market will also be catered.  

He also said that property tax on auto market plots has increased all at once, from Rs 6,400 to Rs 14,000, which is not justified and is unfair. He urged for reducing the property tax and bringing it back to its previous amount for resolving the problems faced by auto market traders. 

He further said that the water charges for the traders of the auto market faced an also increase from Rs 1,750 to Rs 4,100 which should come down to an affordable price. The delegation members were assured by him that ICCI will show full cooperation with TWA Auto Market I-10/3, with the purpose of resolving the key issues of the traders.

اسلام آباد: اتوار کے روز ، اسلام آباد چیمبر آف کامرس اینڈ انڈسٹری (آئی سی سی آئی) نے حکومت پر زور دیا ہے کہ وہ آٹوموبائل اسپیئر پارٹس مارکیٹ پلاٹوں پر پراپرٹی ٹیکس کم کرے۔

صدر مشرف جنجوعہ اور سیکرٹری جنرل سلور خان آفریدی ، ٹریڈرز ویلفیئر ایسوسی ایشن ، آٹو مارکیٹ سیکٹر کے وفد کے ساتھ آئی سی سی آئی گئے اور انہوں نے اپنا اہم معاملہ حکام کے سامنے رکھا۔

آئی سی سی آئی کے صدر سردار یاسر الیاس خان نے وفد سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ کیپیٹل ڈویلپمنٹ اتھارٹی (سی ڈی اے) نے اب مارکیٹوں میں ترقیاتی کام شروع کردیئے ہیں اور انہیں یقین دہانی کرائی ہے کہ آٹو پارٹس مارکیٹ میں ہونے والی ترقی کو بھی تقویت ملی ہوگی۔

انہوں نے یہ بھی کہا کہ آٹو مارکیٹ پلاٹوں پر پراپرٹی ٹیکس ایک ساتھ میں 6،400 روپے سے بڑھ کر 14000 روپے ہوگیا ہے ، جو جائز نہیں ہے اور غیر منصفانہ ہے۔ انہوں نے آٹو مارکیٹ کے تاجروں کو درپیش مسائل کے حل کے لئے پراپرٹی ٹیکس کو کم کرنے اور اسے اپنی سابقہ رقم پر واپس لانے پر زور دیا۔

انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ آٹو مارکیٹ کے تاجروں کے لئے واٹر چارجز میں بھی 1،750 روپے سے بڑھ کر 4،100 روپے کا سامنا کرنا پڑا جو ایک سستی قیمت پر آنا چاہئے۔ وفد کے ممبروں کو ان کی طرف سے یہ یقین دہانی کرائی گئی کہ آئی سی سی آئی تاجروں کے اہم مسائل حل کرنے کے مقصد سے ٹی ڈبلیو اے آٹو مارکیٹ آئی۔ 10/3 کے ساتھ مکمل تعاون کرے گا۔
