Housing sector in Azad Kashmir wIll be modernized’, AJK PM

This initiative has been taken with the intention of resolving the problems faced by the growing population of Azad Jammu and Kashmir due to their inadequate housing. Furthermore, this will help them effectively identify the problems faced by the citizens on a daily basis.

The prime minister expressed that steps are being taken to uplift the cities and the towns located within them. Added to that, instructions have already been issued to the concerned departments regarding town planning. The prime minister assured that the promises made to the residents will be fulfilled.

The PM also said that apart from tourism, the area holds immense potential for the cottage industry.

اسلام آباد: آزاد جموں و کشمیر کے وزیر اعظم سردار تنویر الیاس خان نے کہا کہ آزاد کشمیر میں بڑھتی ہوئی آبادی کو ایڈجسٹ کرنے کے لیے ہاؤسنگ سیکٹر کو جدید بنانے کی ضرورت ہے۔
یہ اقدام آزاد جموں و کشمیر کی بڑھتی ہوئی آبادی کو ان کی ناکافی رہائش کی وجہ سے درپیش مسائل کو حل کرنے کی نیت سے اٹھایا گیا ہے۔ مزید برآں، اس سے انہیں روزانہ کی بنیاد پر شہریوں کو درپیش مسائل کی مؤثر طریقے سے نشاندہی کرنے میں مدد ملے گی۔
وزیراعظم نے کہا کہ شہروں اور قصبوں کی ترقی کے لیے اقدامات کیے جا رہے ہیں۔ اس کے علاوہ ٹاؤن پلاننگ کے حوالے سے متعلقہ محکموں کو پہلے ہی ہدایات جاری کر دی گئی ہیں۔ وزیراعظم نے یقین دلایا کہ مکینوں سے کیے گئے وعدے پورے کیے جائیں گے۔
وزیر اعظم نے یہ بھی کہا کہ سیاحت کے علاوہ یہ علاقہ کاٹیج انڈسٹری کے لیے بے پناہ امکانات رکھتا ہے۔
