Highways development is important for nation's uplifting - Sadiq Sarjani

Chairman Senate Muhammad Sadiq Sanjarani stated that highways play a key role in the economic development of any society and in line with this vision the network of highways in Balochistan is being further expanded so that the living standard of the people can be uplifted by further accelerating the development process in the province.
The Chairman Senate was briefed by the officials of the National Highway Authority regarding the ongoing projects in Baluchistan.
NHA officials informed that the 103 km long Naukandi-Mashkhel Road would be inaugurated soon by the Chairman Senate himself on August 10. Work on the Ziarat-BalaNosh to Dalbandin highway will begin in October.
The Chairman Senate directed that the ongoing highway projects should be completed as soon as possible.
He further said that date orchards and population on Naukandi to Mashkhel road should not be damaged and to save the general population and orchards, the alignment of the road should be re-examined and trees should be planted on both sides of the highway.
The Chairman Senate said that tree planting projects should be initiated along with highway projects in order to reduce the impact of environmental pollution. He hoped that highways would play a key role in the economic development of the province.

چیئرمین سینیٹ کو نیشنل ہائی وے اتھارٹی کے عہدیداروں نے بلوچستان میں جاری منصوبوں کے بارے میں بریفنگ دی۔
این ایچ اے کے عہدیداروں نے بتایا کہ 103 کلومیٹر طویل نوکندی - مشخیل روڈ کا افتتاح جلد چیئرمین سینیٹ خود 10 اگست کو کریں گے۔ زیارت بالا نوش تا دالبندین شاہراہ پر اکتوبر میں کام شروع ہوگا۔
چیئرمین سینیٹ نے ہدایت کی کہ شاہراہ پر جاری منصوبوں کو جلد سے جلد مکمل کیا جائے۔
انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ نوکنڈی تا مشخیل روڈ پر کھجور کے باغات اور آبادی کو نقصان نہیں پہنچایا جائے اور عام آبادی اور باغات کو بچانے کے لئے سڑک کی سیدھ کی جانچ کی جائے اور شاہراہ کے دونوں اطراف درخت لگائے جائیں۔
چیئرمین سینیٹ نے کہا کہ ماحولیاتی آلودگی کے اثرات کو کم کرنے کے لئے شاہراہ منصوبوں کے ساتھ درخت لگانے کے منصوبے بھی شروع کیے جائیں۔ انہوں نے امید ظاہر کی کہ شاہراہیں صوبے کی معاشی ترقی میں کلیدی کردار ادا کریں گی۔
