Health facilities, cleanliness at public hospitals inspected

According to official sources, Punjab chief secretary Kamran Ali inspected the medical facilities, sanitation, and other facilities being provided to the patients. Later, the CS also visited General Bus Stand Shelter in Faisalabad.

During his visit to Allied hospital, The CS expressed displeasure over poor cleanliness and directed the authorities concerned to ensure cleanliness on the hospital’s premises. He, however, lauded the initiative of the hospital administration to appoint staff for the guidance of the patients.

According to the news sources, He also asked patients about the facilities being provided to them and asked them about the availability of medicines and other facilities. He said to them that they could tell him if they got any complaints. The patients, however, expressed satisfaction over the behavior of the doctors and other paramedical staff and facilities available in the hospitals.

The CS stated that better care of the patients could be ensured by displaying the true spirit of humanity, directing the doctors and other paramedical staff to treat the patients politely and patiently. He also directed the medical and paramedical staff to ensure the provision of the best medical facilities, availability of medicines, and attendance of staff.

سرکاری ذرائع کے مطابق چیف سیکرٹری پنجاب کامران علی نے مریضوں کو فراہم کی جانے والی طبی سہولیات، صفائی ستھرائی اور دیگر سہولیات کا معائنہ کیا۔ بعد ازاں سی ایس نے فیصل آباد میں جنرل بس سٹینڈ شیلٹر کا بھی دورہ کیا۔
الائیڈ ہسپتال کے دورے کے دوران سی ایس نے صفائی کے ناقص انتظامات پر برہمی کا اظہار کیا اور متعلقہ حکام کو ہسپتال کے احاطے میں صفائی کو یقینی بنانے کی ہدایت کی۔ تاہم انہوں نے ہسپتال انتظامیہ کے مریضوں کی رہنمائی کے لیے عملہ کی تعیناتی کے اقدام کو سراہا۔
نیوز ذرائع کے مطابق انہوں نے مریضوں سے انہیں فراہم کی جانے والی سہولیات کے بارے میں بھی دریافت کیا اور ان سے ادویات اور دیگر سہولیات کی دستیابی کے بارے میں پوچھا۔ اس نے ان سے کہا کہ اگر انہیں کوئی شکایت ہے تو وہ اسے بتا سکتے ہیں۔ تاہم مریضوں نے ڈاکٹروں اور دیگر پیرا میڈیکل سٹاف کے رویے اور ہسپتالوں میں دستیاب سہولیات پر اطمینان کا اظہار کیا۔
سی ایس نے کہا کہ انسانیت کے حقیقی جذبے کا مظاہرہ کرتے ہوئے مریضوں کی بہتر دیکھ بھال کو یقینی بنایا جا سکتا ہے، ڈاکٹروں اور دیگر پیرا میڈیکل سٹاف کو مریضوں کے ساتھ شائستگی اور تحمل سے پیش آنے کی ہدایت کی جا سکتی ہے۔ انہوں نے میڈیکل اور پیرا میڈیکل سٹاف کو بہترین طبی سہولیات کی فراہمی، ادویات کی دستیابی اور عملے کی حاضری کو یقینی بنانے کی بھی ہدایت کی۔
