Gwadar Safe City Project: PSCA to provide technical, operational support

According to the news sources, the agreement was signed between Gwadar Safe City Project Director DIG Shehzad Asif and PSCA Chief Operating Officer DIG Muhammad Kamran Khan at an appraisal meeting.

He said the business community had pinned high hopes on the PTI government, adding that the government was committed to facilitating businessmen to enhance exports. PSCA to assist Gwadar project. 

According to the details, an appraisal meeting between high-ups of PSCA and Gwadar Safe City took place at Punjab Safe Cities Authority headquarters Qurban Lines here on Sunday.

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between the PSCA and Gwadar Safe CITY. Under the MoU, PSCA to provide maximum technical and operational support to the Gwadar Safe City project in the installation of cameras, formation of the command center, networking, and communication. PSCA technical support team will also visit Gwadar Safe City and provide guidance on technical requirements for all important posts and operational positions.

While directing the meeting, the Project Director of the Gwadar Safe City project added that PSCA's experience will be highly valuable for making Gwadar safe and secure. PSCA has already provided assistance to establish safe and smart city projects in Quetta, Peshawar, Islamabad, and Karachi.

نیوز ذرائع کے مطابق گوادر سیف سٹی پروجیکٹ کے ڈائریکٹر ڈی آئی جی شہزاد آصف اور پی ایس سی اے کے چیف آپریٹنگ آفیسر ڈی آئی جی محمد کامران خان کے درمیان ایک اپریزل میٹنگ میں معاہدے پر دستخط ہوئے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ تاجر برادری نے پی ٹی آئی حکومت سے بڑی امیدیں وابستہ کر رکھی ہیں، انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ حکومت برآمدات کو بڑھانے کے لیے تاجروں کو سہولت فراہم کرنے کے لیے پرعزم ہے۔ پی ایس سی اے گوادر پراجیکٹ کی مدد کرے گا۔
تفصیلات کے مطابق اتوار کو یہاں پنجاب سیف سٹیز اتھارٹی کے ہیڈ کوارٹر قربان لائنز میں پی ایس سی اے اور گوادر سیف سٹی کے اعلیٰ افسران کے درمیان جائزہ اجلاس ہوا۔
پی ایس سی اے اور گوادر سیف سٹی کے درمیان مفاہمت کی یادداشت پر دستخط ہوئے۔ ایم او یو کے تحت پی ایس سی اے گوادر سیف سٹی پروجیکٹ کو کیمروں کی تنصیب، کمانڈ سینٹر کی تشکیل، نیٹ ورکنگ اور کمیونیکیشن میں زیادہ سے زیادہ تکنیکی اور آپریشنل مدد فراہم کرے گا۔ پی ایس سی اے ٹیکنیکل سپورٹ ٹیم گوادر سیف سٹی کا بھی دورہ کرے گی اور تمام اہم پوسٹوں اور آپریشنل عہدوں کے لیے تکنیکی ضروریات کے بارے میں رہنمائی فراہم کرے گی۔
میٹنگ کی ہدایت کرتے ہوئے گوادر سیف سٹی پراجیکٹ کے پروجیکٹ ڈائریکٹر نے مزید کہا کہ گوادر کو محفوظ بنانے کے لیے (پی ایس سی اے) کا تجربہ بہت قیمتی ہوگا۔ (پی ایس سی اے) پہلے ہی کوئٹہ، پشاور، اسلام آباد اور کراچی میں محفوظ اور سمارٹ سٹی پروجیکٹس کے قیام میں مدد فراہم کر چکا ہے۔
