Govt Vows to Make Pakistan Railways Profitable Entity

According to the news sources, On Monday, he told a news conference in Islamabad that the best business practices have been pursued, which will help promote innovation and enhance the Railways.

Federal Minister for Railways Muhammad Azam Khan Swati has said the government is fully determined to take Pakistan Railways to new heights of glory as billions of rupees would be generated from the branding of trains.

According to the details, while addressing a news conference in Islamabad he said that the railways and the corporate sector entered into a collaboration based on a transparent and win-win situation.

He further added that they are striving hard to utilize the dormant resources for the uplift and betterment of Pakistan Railways and said that railways were the key to economic development.

He said that the fares and freight charges would also be reduced once the railways started making an increased profit.

نیوز ذرائع کے مطابق پیر کو انہوں نے اسلام آباد میں نیوز کانفرنس کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ بہترین کاروباری طریقوں پر عمل کیا گیا ہے جس سے جدت کو فروغ دینے اور ریلوے کو بڑھانے میں مدد ملے گی۔
وفاقی وزیر ریلوے محمد اعظم خان سواتی نے کہا ہے کہ حکومت پاکستان ریلوے کو شان و شوکت کی نئی بلندیوں پر لے جانے کے لیے پرعزم ہے کیونکہ ٹرینوں کی برانڈنگ سے اربوں روپے حاصل ہوں گے۔
تفصیلات کے مطابق اسلام آباد میں نیوز کانفرنس سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے انہوں نے کہا کہ ریلوے اور کارپوریٹ سیکٹر نے شفاف اور جیت کی صورتحال پر مبنی تعاون کیا۔
انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ وہ پاکستان ریلوے کی بہتری اور بہتری کے لیے غیر فعال وسائل کو بروئے کار لانے کی بھرپور کوشش کر رہے ہیں اور کہا کہ ریلوے معاشی ترقی کی کلید ہے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ جب ریلوے نے زیادہ منافع کمانا شروع کیا تو کرایوں اور فریٹ چارجز میں بھی کمی کی جائے گی۔
