Govt. to Set up Industrial Estate on Lahore-Multan Motorway

Minister got the briefing regarding the speedy establishment of the industrial units in Industrial estates. He directed the PIEDMC to present the list of industrial units that were established after 2018 in industrial estates and were also instructed to develop a dashboard with the Punjab Information Technology Board`s collaboration.

This will help to make details of industrial units available at one click`s distance.

He also said that the industrial estates are not for the purchase or sale of plots but at the grassroots level for industrialization. He believes that facilities should be provided to the investors and no hindrances should be made in their way.

He said that the state-of-the-art industrial estate would be established over Lahore-Multan Motorway. Also, the government was keeping industries on priority which were substituted for imports.

A financial model will be formulated soon for introducing the concept of corporate social responsibility.

لاہور: صوبائی صنعت و تجارت کے وزیر میاں اسلم اقبال نے پیر کو پنجاب انڈسٹریل اسٹیٹس ڈویلپمنٹ کمپنی (پی آئی ای ڈی ایم سی) سے متعلق مختلف امور کا جائزہ لینے کے لئے ایک اجلاس کی سربراہی کی۔

وزیر کو صنعتی اسٹیٹس میں صنعتی یونٹوں کے تیزی سے قیام کے بارے میں بریفنگ ملی۔ انہوں نے پی آئی ای ڈی ایم سی کو ہدایت کی کہ وہ صنعتی یونٹوں کی فہرست پیش کریں جو 2018 کے بعد صنعتی اسٹیٹس میں قائم کی گئیں اور انہیں پنجاب انفارمیشن ٹکنالوجی بورڈ کے تعاون سے ڈیش بورڈ تیار کرنے کی ہدایت بھی کی گئی۔

اس سے صنعتی اکائیوں کی تفصیلات ایک کلک کے فاصلے پر دستیاب ہونے میں مدد ملے گی۔

انہوں نے یہ بھی کہا کہ صنعتی اسٹیٹس پلاٹوں کی خرید و فروخت کے لئے نہیں بلکہ صنعتی کاری کے لئے نچلی سطح پر ہیں۔ ان کا خیال ہے کہ سرمایہ کاروں کو سہولیات فراہم کی جانی چاہئیں اور ان کی راہ میں رکاوٹیں پیدا نہیں ہونی چاہئیں۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ لاہور۔ ملتان موٹر وے پر جدید ترین صنعتی اسٹیٹ قائم کیا جائے گا۔ نیز حکومت ان صنعتوں کو ترجیح پر رکھے ہوئے تھی جو درآمدات کے متبادل تھے۔

کارپوریٹ سماجی ذمہ داری کے تصور کو متعارف کروانے کے لئے جلد ہی ایک مالیاتی ماڈل تشکیل دیا جائے گا۔
