Govt Paying Attention to Development of Rural Areas: Minister Dr Akhtar Malik

Provincial Minister for Energy Dr. Akhtar Malik said that the incumbent government paying special focuses on the development of rural in order to ensure facilities equally in urban and rural areas of the country.

Addressing a ceremony of the Sui-Gas project at Basti Bhojian of Union Council Makhdoom Rasheed Guryala here on Monday, the provincial minister said that the people of the area had been demanding Sui-gas facility since last many years but the previous governments had made promises only instead of practical work.

He said that the incumbent government was fulfilling all its pledges made during the election adding that a new pipeline with funds of over Rs 35 million was being laid in the area for the provision of a Sui gas facility to local people.

He announced the construction of Multan to Vehari road that would be started soon as the tender of the scheme had already been published in the newspapers as well.

He said that Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar would soon inaugurate the project.

صوبائی وزیر توانائی ڈاکٹر اختر ملک نے کہا کہ موجودہ حکومت دیہی ترقی پر خصوصی توجہ دے رہی ہے تاکہ ملک کے شہری اور دیہی علاقوں میں یکساں سہولیات کو یقینی بنایا جا سکے۔

پیر کو یہاں یونین کونسل مخدوم رشید گوریالہ کی بستی بھوجیاں میں سوئی گیس منصوبے کی تقریب سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے صوبائی وزیر نے کہا کہ علاقے کے عوام گزشتہ کئی سالوں سے سوئی گیس کی سہولت کا مطالبہ کر رہے تھے لیکن سابقہ حکومتوں نے صرف وعدے ہی کئے۔ عملی کام کے بجائے

انہوں نے کہا کہ موجودہ حکومت الیکشن کے دوران کیے گئے اپنے تمام وعدے پورے کر رہی ہے اور علاقے میں مقامی لوگوں کو سوئی گیس کی سہولت فراہم کرنے کے لیے 35 ملین روپے سے زائد کے فنڈز سے نئی پائپ لائن بچھائی جا رہی ہے۔

انہوں نے ملتان تا وہاڑی سڑک کی تعمیر کا اعلان کیا جو جلد شروع کر دی جائے گی کیونکہ اس سکیم کا ٹینڈر اخبارات میں بھی شائع ہو چکا ہے۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ وزیراعظم عمران خان اور وزیراعلیٰ عثمان بزدار جلد منصوبے کا افتتاح کریں گے۔
