Govt focusing on development of Faisalabad`s infrastructure

Provincial Minister for CM Punjab Inspection Team Chaudhry Muhammad Ajmal Cheema said the government was focusing on strengthening infrastructure for the city, and regional development in the province.

He said this during a meeting with Faisalabad Development Authority Chairman Latif Nazar and Director General Dr. Faisal Azeem at the FDA Complex. He welcomed the proposed master plan for the city and said that such a plan was imperative for the development of the city.

He also lauded the operation against illegal housing societies, and the encroachment drive, underway currently under the Faisalabad Development Authority, and said that illegal activities could be discouraged only by implementation of the law.

Cheema said the government was providing incentives, and facilities to the construction industry due to which economic activities had been generated, and people were getting employment in the province. 

Chairman FDA Latif Nazar said that consultation was being made with all stakeholders including divisional, and district administration, Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Land Developers to give the final shape to the plan.

صوبائی وزیر وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب انسپکشن ٹیم چوہدری محمد اجمل چیمہ نے کہا کہ حکومت شہر کے بنیادی ڈھانچے کو مضبوط بنانے اور صوبے میں علاقائی ترقی پر توجہ دے رہی ہے۔

انہوں نے یہ بات فیصل آباد ڈویلپمنٹ اتھارٹی کے چیئرمین لطیف نظر اور ڈائریکٹر جنرل ڈاکٹر فیصل عظیم سے ایف ڈی اے کمپلیکس میں ملاقات کے دوران کہی۔ انہوں نے شہر کے لیے مجوزہ ماسٹر پلان کا خیرمقدم کیا اور کہا کہ اس طرح کا منصوبہ شہر کی ترقی کے لیے ضروری ہے۔

انہوں نے فیصل آباد ڈویلپمنٹ اتھارٹی کے تحت جاری غیر قانونی ہاؤسنگ سوسائٹیز کے خلاف آپریشن اور تجاوزات مہم کو بھی سراہا اور کہا کہ قانون کے نفاذ سے ہی غیر قانونی سرگرمیوں کی حوصلہ شکنی کی جا سکتی ہے۔

چیمہ نے کہا کہ حکومت تعمیراتی صنعت کو مراعات اور سہولیات فراہم کر رہی ہے جس کی وجہ سے معاشی سرگرمیاں پیدا ہوئی ہیں اور لوگوں کو صوبے میں روزگار مل رہا ہے۔

چیئرمین ایف ڈی اے لطیف نذر نے کہا کہ تمام اسٹیک ہولڈرز بشمول ڈویژنل ، اور ضلعی انتظامیہ ، فیصل آباد چیمبر آف کامرس اینڈ انڈسٹری ، لینڈ ڈویلپرز سے منصوبہ کو حتمی شکل دینے کے لیے مشاورت کی جا رہی ہے۔
