Govt Decided to construct Olympic Village in Islamabad

PM Shehbaz Sharif presided over a meeting in Islamabad when the project was discussed.

The Olympic Village would be built on 1200 kanals of land at the foot of the Margalla Hills, it was announced at the conference. The prime minister described the Olympic Village as a national initiative and demanded that a corporate structure be created and that the project's construction be supervised by the pertinent specialists.

It would feature facilities of international standards for various sports, including a cricket academy, an international cricket stadium, a hockey ground, a tennis complex, an athletics stadium, indoor sports, and an international hotel.

اولمپک ویلج مارگلہ پہاڑیوں کے دامن میں 1200 کنال اراضی پر تعمیر کیا جائے گا، کانفرنس میں اعلان کیا گیا۔ وزیر اعظم نے اولمپک ولیج کو ایک قومی اقدام قرار دیتے ہوئے مطالبہ کیا کہ ایک کارپوریٹ ڈھانچہ بنایا جائے اور اس منصوبے کی تعمیر کی نگرانی متعلقہ ماہرین سے کی جائے۔
اس میں کرکٹ اکیڈمی، انٹرنیشنل کرکٹ اسٹیڈیم، ہاکی گراؤنڈ، ٹینس کمپلیکس، ایتھلیٹکس اسٹیڈیم، انڈور سپورٹس اور ایک بین الاقوامی ہوٹل سمیت مختلف کھیلوں کے لیے بین الاقوامی معیار کی سہولیات موجود ہوں گی۔
