Govt allows Exports of 14 items to Afghanistan in Pakistani Rupees

According to the news sources, Due to the lack of marketable currency through banking channels, the federal government on Friday allowed the export of another 14 commodities to Afghanistan in rupees via land routes, in what looks to be yet another significant milestone.

Following a sharp drop in shipments to Afghanistan, the decision was made at a meeting of the cabinet’s Economic Coordination Committee (ECC), headed over by Finance Minister Shaukat Tarin.

According to the details, The Taliban-led administration will also benefit from the decision since it will let them continue importing critical food goods from Pakistan until the West recognizes their rule.

According to the Economic Coordination Committee, Pakistan has taken several steps since the Taliban took control of Kabul, including a significant cut in tariffs on Afghan vegetables and fruits. In this regard, the ECC waived a 45 percent tariff on Afghan chilghoza imports.

خبر رساں ذرائع کے مطابق بینکنگ چینلز کے ذریعے قابل مارکیٹ کرنسی کی کمی کے باعث وفاقی حکومت نے جمعہ کو زمینی راستوں کے ذریعے مزید 14 اشیاء افغانستان کو روپے میں برآمد کرنے کی اجازت دے دی جو کہ ایک اور اہم سنگ میل معلوم ہوتا ہے۔
افغانستان کو ترسیل میں تیزی سے کمی کے بعد، یہ فیصلہ وزیر خزانہ شوکت ترین کی سربراہی میں کابینہ کی اقتصادی رابطہ کمیٹی (ای سی سی) کے اجلاس میں کیا گیا۔
تفصیلات کے مطابق، طالبان کی زیر قیادت انتظامیہ کو بھی اس فیصلے سے فائدہ پہنچے گا کیونکہ یہ انہیں پاکستان سے غذائی اشیا کی درآمد جاری رکھنے کی اجازت دے گی جب تک کہ مغرب ان کی حکمرانی کو تسلیم نہیں کرتا۔

اقتصادی رابطہ کمیٹی کے مطابق، طالبان کے کابل پر قبضے کے بعد سے پاکستان نے کئی اقدامات کیے ہیں، جن میں افغان سبزیوں اور پھلوں پر ٹیرف میں نمایاں کمی بھی شامل ہے۔ اس سلسلے میں ای سی سی نے افغان چلغوزہ کی درآمدات پر 45 فیصد ٹیرف معاف کر دیا۔
