Government Targeting illegal Housing Schemes in Punjab

According to details, housing schemes will be monitored by the Punjab Commission for Housing Schemes. Punjab Commission has issued a gazette notification of Regularization Housing Schemes Ordinance 2021.

The Punjab Government's Housing Schemes Ordinance will be applicable across the province. Thousands of illegal schemes across the province, including Lahore, will come under the observation of the commission for which a five-member committee has been formed.

A retired judge will be elected chairman of the commission in consultation with the chief justice. A town planner with 20 years of experience, a civil engineer, a retired environmental officer, and an eagle advisor will be selected as members of the commission.

The commission will take decisions to protect the residents while the powers of housing schemes against the rules have been handed over to the commission.

The Commission will be authorized to rehabilitate cemeteries in the Housing Societies Regulations and will be bound to construct cemeteries within a 5 km radius of the Developers Housing Society.

Developers who do not have space for hospitals and mosques will have to pay a fine. Playgrounds, parks, and green belts will be provided. Developers of illegal housing schemes will be able to appear before the conciliation commission.

The Commission's decisions will apply to the old anti-regulation housing schemes. Relevant societies will be responsible for the functioning of the conciliation commission.

لاہور: پنجاب حکومت نے لاہور سمیت صوبہ بھر میں سیکڑوں غیر قانونی رہائشی سکیموں پر ضمنی قوانین کے نفاذ کے لئے آرڈیننس جاری کیا ہے۔

تفصیلات کے مطابق ہاؤسنگ اسکیموں کی نگرانی پنجاب کمیشن برائے ہاؤسنگ اسکیموں کے ذریعہ کی جائے گی۔ پنجاب کمیشن نے ریگولرائزیشن ہاؤسنگ سکیمز آرڈیننس 2021 کا گزٹ نوٹیفکیشن جاری کردیا۔

حکومت پنجاب کے رہائشی سکیموں کا آرڈیننس پورے صوبے میں لاگو ہوگا۔ لاہور سمیت صوبہ بھر میں ہزاروں غیر قانونی اسکیمیں اس کمیشن کے زیر نگرانی آئیں گی جس کے لئے پانچ رکنی کمیٹی تشکیل دی گئی ہے۔

ایک ریٹائرڈ جج چیف جسٹس کی مشاورت سے کمیشن کا چیئرمین منتخب ہوگا۔ 20 سال کا تجربہ رکھنے والا ٹاؤن پلانر ، سول انجینئر ، ماحولیات کا ایک ریٹائرڈ افسر ، اور عقاب مشیر کمیشن کے ممبر کے طور پر منتخب ہوگا۔

کمیشن رہائشیوں کی حفاظت کے لئے فیصلے کرے گا جبکہ قواعد کے خلاف رہائشی سکیموں کے اختیارات کمیشن کے حوالے کردیئے گئے ہیں۔

کمیشن ہاؤسنگ سوسائٹی ریگولیشنز میں قبرستانوں کی بحالی کا مجاز ہوگا اور ڈویلپرز ہاؤسنگ سوسائٹی کے 5 کلومیٹر کے دائرے میں قبرستان تعمیر کرنے کا پابند ہوگا۔

ڈویلپرز جن کے پاس اسپتالوں کے لئے جگہ نہیں ہے ، اور مساجد کو جرمانہ ادا کرنا پڑے گا۔ کھیل کے میدان ، پارکس اور گرین بیلٹس مہیا کیے جائیں گے۔ غیر قانونی رہائشی سکیموں کے ڈویلپر مفاہمت کمیشن کے سامنے حاضر ہوسکیں گے۔

کمیشن کے فیصلوں کا اطلاق پرانی انسداد ریگولیشن ہاؤسنگ اسکیموں پر ہوگا۔ مفاہمت کے کمشن کے کام کے لئے متعلقہ معاشرے ذمہ دار ہوں گے۔
