Gilgit-Shandoor Road: Ningxia Communications wins contract

According to the news sources, Gilgit-Shandoor Road is a part of Gilgit-Shandur-Chitral Road, proving an alternative route to the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

The Gilgit-Shandoor Road project is located in the north of Pakistan and is one of the important branch roads connecting Karakoram Highway, which has significant meaning for improving the traffic capacity of the existing roads in the region.

According to the details, the Overseas Division of Ningxia Communications Construction Co. Ltd has received a Letter of Acceptance for Construction of Package -02 (61Km) of Gilgit-Shandoor (216 Km), reads the official statement of the company.

According to Ningxia Communications’ Overseas Business Division. “The winning of the bid is of great significance for the company to stabilize the Pakistani market and has laid the foundation for healthy and orderly development.

The Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) has approved Gilgit-Shandoor Road 216 km project in June 2021. The National Highway Authority (NHA), a statutory body under the Ministry of Communications, is the procuring agency of the project, China Economic Net (CEN) reported.

تفصیلات کے مطابق، (ننگزیا کمیونیکیشن کنسٹرکشن کمپنی لمیٹڈ) کے اوورسیز ڈویژن کو گلگت-شندور (216 کلومیٹر) کے پیکج -02 (61 کلو میٹر) کی تعمیر کے لیے قبولیت کا خط موصول ہوا ہے۔
ننگزیا کمیونیکیشنز کے اوورسیز بزنس ڈویژن کے مطابق۔ "بولی جیتنا کمپنی کے لیے پاکستانی مارکیٹ کو مستحکم کرنے کے لیے بہت اہمیت کا حامل ہے اور اس نے صحت مند اور منظم ترقی کی بنیاد رکھی ہے۔
قومی اقتصادی کونسل کی ایگزیکٹو کمیٹی (ای سی این ای سی) نے جون 2021 میں گلگت-شندور روڈ 216 کلومیٹر کے منصوبے کی منظوری دے دی ہے۔ نیشنل ہائی وے اتھارٹی (این ایچ اے)، جو وزارت مواصلات کے تحت ایک قانونی ادارہ ہے، اس منصوبے کی پروکیورنگ ایجنسی، چین ہے۔ اقتصادی نیٹ (سی ای این) نے رپورٹ کیا۔
