Funds released for construction of power distribution projects

The Punjab In­­dustrial Estates Deve­lop­ment and Management Com­­pany (PIEDMC) has appro­ved release of Rs55 million to the Faisalabad Electric Supply Company for the construction of 132KV grid station in Bhalwal Ind­ustrial Zone and Rs9.6m to Lahore Electric Supply Com­pany for feeder connection in Chunian Aqua Business Park.

On the recommendations of the committee, the PIEDMC in its Board of Directors meeting also ap­­proved Rs5.4m for consultancy services for disposal stations in Vehari and Rahim Yar Khan industrial zones, Rs30m for transaction advisory of Mu­­za­ffar­garh In­­d­u­s­­trial Zone and renewal of contracts of transport servi­ce and medical insurance for staff.

The meeting presided over by the chairman Syed Nabil Hashmi was earlier told that the company earned Rs 12 billion from QABP, Rahim Yar Khan, Vehari and Bhal­wal Industrial Zones started development works on the Quaid-i-Azam Busi­ness park, Bahawalpur Industrial Zone and transformed Chunian In­­dustrial Zone into Aqua Bu­­s­iness Park, work on net met­e­ring and expansion project also started in Sundar Ind­u­s­trial Estate.

پنجاب انڈسٹریل اسٹیٹس ڈویلپمنٹ اینڈ مینجمنٹ کمپنی (PIEDMC) نے بھلوال انڈسٹریل زون میں 132KV گرڈ سٹیشن کی تعمیر کے لیے فیصل آباد الیکٹرک سپلائی کمپنی کو 55 ملین روپے اور 9 روپے جاری کرنے کی منظوری دی ہے۔ چونیاں ایکوا بزنس پارک میں فیڈر کنکشن کے لیے لاہور الیکٹرک سپلائی کمپنی کو 6 ملین دیئے۔

کمیٹی کی سفارشات پر پی آئی ای ڈی ایم سی نے اپنے بورڈ آف ڈائریکٹرز کے اجلاس میں وہاڑی اور رحیم یار خان انڈسٹریل زونز میں ڈسپوزل سٹیشنز کے لیے کنسلٹنسی سروسز کے لیے 5.4 ملین روپے، مظفر گڑھ کی ٹرانزیکشن ایڈوائزری کے لیے 30 ملین روپے کی منظوری دی۔ انڈول ٹرائل زون اور عملے کے لیے ٹرانسپورٹ سروس اور میڈیکل انشورنس کے معاہدوں کی تجدید دی۔

چیئرمین سید نبیل ہاشمی کی زیرصدارت اجلاس میں بتایا گیا کہ کمپنی نے QABP، رحیم یار خان، وہاڑی اور بھلوال انڈسٹریل زونز سے 12 ارب روپے کمائے، قائداعظم بزنس پارک پر ترقیاتی کام شروع کیے، بہاولپور انڈسٹریل زون اور چونیاں انڈسٹریل زون کو ایکوا بزنس پارک میں تبدیل کردیا، سندر انڈسٹریل اسٹیٹ میں نیٹ میٹنگ اور توسیعی منصوبے پر کام بھی شروع ہوگیا۔
