Forest Department hands over 3 rest houses to Tourism Department

According to details, a ceremony was held between the Forest Department and the Tourism Department to sign the MoU.

The ceremony was attended by Forest Minister Sabteen Khan, Tourism Advisor Asif Mehmood, Forest Secretary Javed Iqbal Bukhari, and Secretary Tourism Ehsan Bhatta.

DCP Sohail Zafar, MD Tourism Corporation Tanveer Jabbar, Additional Secretary Forests Shahid Rashid also participated.

Initially, 3 rest houses of the forest department will be opened for tourists, administrative affairs of forest rest houses will be run by the tourism department, while other rest houses of Punjab will be handed over to tourism department and private sector in phases.

The TDCP will provide facilities for tourists in 3 rest houses of the forest department.

Provincial Minister Sabtin Khan said that in the first phase, the rest houses of Murree are being handed over to TDCP, in phases other government rest houses will also be opened to the public.

In addition, to increase the revenue of the railways, it was decided to open rest houses at important places across the country for general tourists.

 Ordinary citizens will be able to rent railway rest houses for the general public. Khan Swati sought details of rest houses from all divisions including Lahore.

لاہور: وسائل کی کمی اور انتظامی امور کی وجہ سے محکمہ جنگلات نے 3 ریسٹ ہاؤسز کے انتظامی امور کو محکمہ سیاحت کے حوالے کردیا۔

تفصیلات کے مطابق محکمہ جنگلات اور محکمہ سیاحت کے مابین ایم او یو پر دستخط کرنے کے لئے ایک تقریب کا انعقاد کیا گیا۔

تقریب میں وزیر جنگلات سبطین خان ، مشیر سیاحت آصف محمود ، جنگلات کے سکریٹری جاوید اقبال بخاری ، اور سیکرٹری سیاحت احسان بھٹہ نے شرکت کی۔

ڈی سی پی سہیل ظفر ، ایم ڈی ٹورزم کارپوریشن تنویر جبار ، ایڈیشنل سیکرٹری جنگلات شاہد رشید نے بھی شرکت کی۔

ابتدائی طور پر محکمہ جنگلات کے 3 ریسٹ ہاؤس سیاحوں کے لئے کھولے جائیں گے ، محکمہ ٹورسٹ کے زیر انتظام محکمہ جنگلاتی ریسٹ ہاؤسز کے انتظامی امور چلائے جائیں گے ، جبکہ پنجاب کے دیگر ریسٹ ہاؤسز کو محکمہ سیاحت اور نجی شعبے کو مراحل میں سپرد کردیا جائے گا۔

ٹی ڈی سی پی محکمہ جنگلات کے 3 ریسٹ ہاؤسز میں سیاحوں کے لئے سہولیات مہیا کرے گا۔

صوبائی وزیر سبطین خان نے کہا کہ پہلے مرحلے میں مری کے باقی گھروں کو ٹی ڈی سی پی کے حوالے کیا جارہا ہے ، مرحلہ وار دیگر سرکاری ریسٹ ہاؤسز بھی عوام کے لئے کھول دیئے جائیں گے۔

اس کے علاوہ ، ریلوے کی آمدنی میں اضافے کے لئے عام سیاحوں کے لئے ملک بھر میں اہم مقامات پر ریسٹ ہاؤسز کھولنے کا فیصلہ کیا گیا۔

عام شہری عام لوگوں کے لئے ریلوے ریسٹ ہاؤسز کرایے پر لے سکیں گے۔ خان سواتی نے لاہور سمیت تمام ڈویژنوں سے ریسٹ ہاؤسز کی تفصیلات طلب کیں۔
