For Lahore's Bund Road renovation, three solutions have been put forth

Due to its deteriorated state, the current state of Bund Road and its numerous portions is quite pitiful.

Under option 1, a three-lane underpass with 5.1 metres of traffic height clearance (headed for the Babu Sabu Interchange) has also been suggested. The PC-1 has been presented to the government with an estimated total project cost of about Rs4.959 billion, which includes the acquisition of 10.5 kanals of land.

Option 2 proposes a six-lane dual highway with two protected U-turn lanes from Babu Sabu Interchange to Ring Road. An estimated cost of Rs4.104 billion, including more than Rs2.079 billion for construction, has been determined.

The final alternative is for a three-lane flyover for traffic heading toward the Babu Sabu Interchange and a six-lane dual carriageway from Babu Sabu to the Ring Road.

Due to potential negative consequences from the passage of many heavy trucks, the construction of a flyover has been deemed impractical.

آپشن 2 بابو صابو انٹر چینج سے رنگ روڈ تک دو محفوظ یو ٹرن لین کے ساتھ چھ لین والی دوہری شاہراہ کی تجویز پیش کرتا ہے۔ 4.104 بلین روپے کی لاگت کا تخمینہ لگایا گیا ہے، جس میں تعمیر کے لیے 2.079 بلین روپے بھی شامل ہیں۔
آخری متبادل بابو صابو انٹرچینج کی طرف جانے والی ٹریفک کے لیے تین لین والے فلائی اوور اور بابو صابو سے رنگ روڈ تک چھ لین والے دوہری کیریج وے کا ہے۔
بہت سے بھاری ٹرکوں کے گزرنے سے ممکنہ منفی نتائج کی وجہ سے، فلائی اوور کی تعمیر کو ناقابل عمل سمجھا گیا ہے۔
