For a Lahore free of signals, LDA is launching multiple mega projects

The decision was made during a meeting that was presided over by Muhammad Ali Randhawa, the LDA's commissioner and director general. At the meeting were Chief Engineer Israr Saeed Khan, Director of DG HQ, Project Directors, and pertinent officers.

The DG was briefed on planned projects by Chief Engineer LDA Israr Saeed Khan and the relevant Project Director. The building of a two-lane flypast on Defense Chowk and a two-lane underpass at Cavalry Chowk are part of the signal-free project that LDA has designed from Gulberg to Defense Mor.

Defense Mor will be updated as part of the project. The Ring Road's Nawaz Sharif Interchange and the construction of an underpass on Bedian Road were both assessed by the director general.

Also, he received a briefing on the problems with the Shahdara Multi-Level Flypast project. Furthermore, highlighted was the Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute's (PKLI) ongoing development work. The director general concluded by saying that these projects will address traffic problems.

ڈی جی کو چیف انجینئر ایل ڈی اے اسرار سعید خان اور متعلقہ پراجیکٹ ڈائریکٹر نے منصوبہ بند منصوبوں پر بریفنگ دی۔ ڈیفنس چوک پر دو لین فلائی پاسٹ کی عمارت اور کیولری چوک پر دو لین انڈر پاس سگنل فری پروجیکٹ کا حصہ ہیں جسے ایل ڈی اے نے گلبرگ سے ڈیفنس موڑ تک ڈیزائن کیا ہے۔
ڈیفنس موڑ کو پروجیکٹ کے حصے کے طور پر اپ ڈیٹ کیا جائے گا۔ ڈائریکٹر جنرل نے رنگ روڈ کے نواز شریف انٹر چینج اور بیدیاں روڈ پر انڈر پاس کی تعمیر دونوں کا جائزہ لیا۔
اس کے علاوہ انہیں شاہدرہ ملٹی لیول فلائی پاسٹ پراجیکٹ میں درپیش مسائل پر بریفنگ دی گئی۔ اس کے علاوہ پاکستان کڈنی اینڈ لیور انسٹی ٹیوٹ (PKLI) کے جاری ترقیاتی کاموں پر بھی روشنی ڈالی گئی۔ ڈائریکٹر جنرل نے یہ کہہ کر اختتام کیا کہ ان منصوبوں سے ٹریفک کے مسائل حل ہوں گے۔
