LAHORE: On Monday, the Punjab Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) approved 10 development plans for the highways and industry sectors, with a projected cost of Rs36.52 billion. (Reported by news source)
The 22nd PDWP meeting of the fiscal year 2022–2023, presided over by Chairman of the Planning and Development Board Abdullah Khan Sumbal, accepted these plans.
The approved development plans included the Establishment of New Small Industrial Estate in Gujarat and the Establishment of Excellence Hub(s) in the Field of Renewable Energy (Govt Apprenticeship Training Centre, Township, Lahore and Govt. College of Technology, Taxila, District Rawalpindi). The Improving Workforce Readiness in Punjab Project cost Rs23,982.702 million and the Establishment of Excellence Hub(s) in the Field of Renewable Energy cost Rs904.98 million each.
Eight kilometre long DI Khan Road from Chashma Lake to Allu Wali Piplan Kallourkot Road in the district of Mianwali, as well as the widening and restoration of the metalled road from Sanjarpur to Tillu Road (Walhar Morr) via Walhar and Bindoor in the district of Rahim Yar Khan's Tehsil Sadiqabad reconstruction work have been revised.

منظور شدہ ترقیاتی منصوبوں میں گجرات میں نئی سمال انڈسٹریل اسٹیٹ کا قیام اور قابل تجدید توانائی کے شعبے (گورنمنٹ اپرنٹس شپ ٹریننگ سینٹر، ٹاؤن شپ، لاہور اور گورنمنٹ کالج آف ٹیکنالوجی، ٹیکسلا، ڈسٹرکٹ راولپنڈی) میں ایکسی لینس ہب کا قیام شامل ہے۔ . پنجاب میں افرادی قوت کی تیاری کو بہتر بنانے کے منصوبے پر 23,982.702 ملین روپے لاگت آئی ہے اور قابل تجدید توانائی کے شعبے میں ایکسی لینس ہب کے قیام پر 904.98 ملین روپے لاگت آئے گی۔
ضلع میانوالی میں چشمہ جھیل سے اللو والی پپلاں کلور کوٹ روڈ تک آٹھ کلو میٹر طویل ڈی آئی خان روڈ، نیز ضلع رحیم کے علاقے سنجر پور سے ٹلو روڈ (والہار موڑ) سے ہوتے ہوئے والہار اور بندور تک میٹلڈ روڈ کو چوڑا اور بحالی کا کام۔ رحیم یار خان کی تحصیل صادق آباد کی تعمیر نو کے کاموں پر نظر ثانی کی گئی ہے۔
