Faisalabad: The anti-corruption department in Faisalabad has recently recovered 30 kanals of land owned by the state. According to news sources, the land recovered has a market value of Rs. 230 million in Faisalabad.
An official source has reported that the team supervised by Director Anti-Corruption Imran Raza Abbasi has retrieved state land occupied illegally by Haji Muhammad Naseeb in Chak 225-RB. The land grabber had cultivated various crops on the occupied land and had no permission or lease agreement whatsoever. While addressing the journalists and other media persons, Director Anti-Corruption said that further action would be taken by the court of law and the accused would be punished according to the laws of Pakistan.
