Exports of 11 sectors jump 35pc in February

According to the news sources, Data compiled by the Ministry of Commerce showed that the growth in the value-added sectors contributed to an increase in overall exports from these sectors.

According to the details, the highest-ever depreciation of the rupee against the dollar and greater demand from the international market are reasons behind this growth.

The government has announced several measures including cash subsidies for the promotion of value-added sectors. Moreover, the massive depreciation also contributed to enhancing exports to the Western markets.

The upward trend was seen for the past few consecutive months. In February, the total export proceeds of these sectors went up by 35.78 percent to $2.80 billion from $2.06bn over the same period last year.

تفصیلات کے مطابق ڈالر کے مقابلے میں روپے کی قدر میں اب تک کی بلند ترین کمی اور بین الاقوامی مارکیٹ سے زیادہ مانگ اس اضافے کی وجوہات ہیں۔
حکومت نے ویلیو ایڈڈ شعبوں کے فروغ کے لیے نقد سبسڈی سمیت متعدد اقدامات کا اعلان کیا ہے۔ مزید برآں، بڑے پیمانے پر گراوٹ نے بھی مغربی منڈیوں میں برآمدات کو بڑھانے میں اہم کردار ادا کیا۔
پچھلے کچھ مہینوں سے اوپر کی طرف رجحان دیکھا گیا تھا۔ فروری میں، ان شعبوں کی کل برآمدات گزشتہ سال کی اسی مدت کے مقابلے میں 2.06 بلین ڈالر سے 35.78 فیصد بڑھ کر 2.80 بلین ڈالر ہوگئیں۔
