Eastbay Expressway Most Likely To Become Available For Commercial Use After Eid-al-Adha

Acting as the main artery of Gwadar Port, the Eastbay Expressway will be a 19km highway consisting of a six-lane road. The entire traffic which will pass through it will fulfill the dream of turning Gwadar into an economic hub

The main purpose the expressway will serve is to provide an even platform for transport for import and export to Khujrab, the border of China. It will also connect the port to the two of its free zones with the Makran Coastal Highway (N-10) as well as motorway resulting in smooth logistics transportation.

The project director, Imam Buksh Bezenjo said that the highly anticipated ribbon-cutting ceremony is expected to be held on May 16. He further expressed that the test drives had been performed successfully which meant other smaller installations such as the cat-eyes and the direction signs can now be installed.

The GPA operation manager Gul Muhammad expressed how the GPA and China communication construction company have cooperated in mega work from designing, modeling, as well as the physical construction of the Eastbay Expressway.

ایکسپریس وے کا بنیادی مقصد چین کی سرحد خجراب کو درآمد اور برآمد کے لئے نقل و حمل کے لئے ایک برابر پلیٹ فارم فراہم کرنا ہے۔ یہ بندرگاہ کو مکران کوسٹل ہائی وے (این-10) کے ساتھ ساتھ موٹر وے سے بھی اپنے دو فری زونز سے جوڑے گا جس کے نتیجے میں ہموار لاجسٹک ٹرانسپورٹیشن ہوگی۔
پروجیکٹ ڈائریکٹر امام بخش بیزنجو نے کہا کہ انتہائی متوقع ربن کاٹنے کی تقریب 16 مئی کو منعقد ہونے کی توقع ہے۔ انہوں نے مزید اظہار کیا کہ ٹیسٹ ڈرائیو کامیابی سے انجام دی گئی ہیں جس کا مطلب ہے کہ دیگر چھوٹی تنصیبات جیسے بلی کی آنکھیں اور سمت کے نشانات اب نصب کیے جا سکتے ہیں۔
جی پی اے کے آپریشن منیجر گل محمد نے اظہار خیال کیا کہ کس طرح جی پی اے اور چائنا کمیونیکیشن کنسٹرکشن کمپنی نے ڈیزائننگ، ماڈلنگ کے علاوہ ایسٹ بے ایکسپریس وے کی فزیکل تعمیرات سے میگا ورک میں تعاون کیا ہے
