DHA Quetta Extended Deadline for Payment Submission of Smart City
Quetta: The Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Quetta has yet again extended the deadline for members to submit their first down payment for the Smart City Project.
As per the details, the new deadline has been set for June 23, previously May 30, and it has been extended to facilitate the public during the city’s continuing partial lockdown amid COVID-19.
This is not the first time that DHA Quetta has extended the deadline for payment submissions. The initial deadline was April 15 but as the coronavirus situation becomes worse in the country, the deadline was extended. Moreover, it was also announced that the first down payment will be decreased to 8% instead of 10% of the cost. In the case of farmhouses, the first down payment will be collected at 16% instead of 20% that was earlier communicated.
The Smart City Project had conducted its first ballot on March 14. The residential plots of 8, 10, 16 marlas, and 1, 2-Kanals were balloted in the first phase. Furthermore, commercial plots of 4 and 8 marla were also included in the ballot.
