Lahore: The design for low-cost housing units under Naya Pakistan Housing Project has been approved by the Punjab Housing and Town Planning Agency (PHATA), according to a news source. This decision was taken and made public at the 61st PHATA meeting held at the head office.
Presided at the meeting were Punjab Minister for Urban Development and Public Health Engineering Mian Mehmood-ur-Rasheed, Punjab Housing Secretary Naseem Sadiq, PHATA Director-General Liaqat Chatta, and directors of the PHATA board.
Rasheed mentioned that the consultation process for the formation of a comprehensive policy for construction of low-cost houses was underway and the members of the board have approved the design to be constructed under the NPHP Project.
