CURRENT PROJECTS ON PRIORITY LIST: CDA

The reporter said that all of the projects, for which the previous management had already established completion dates, were still under construction day and night. The Islamabad Expressway, IJ Principal Road, Margalla Avenue Extension, and other projects are currently being worked on by the development authority.

As the Parliament had already approved the Islamabad Food Authority, Captain (r) Usman would now actively work on the same.

The CDA chairman, who also serves as Chief Commissioner of the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT), stated that he was opposed to the purchase of machinery for cleaning reasons because the maintenance of such equipment would place a significant financial strain on the authority.

The authority is now working on five parking lots while a suitable disposal location outside the city along with administration of neighbouring districts would be chosen in the next 25 to 30 years.

رپورٹر نے کہا کہ تمام منصوبے جن کے لیے پچھلی انتظامیہ نے تکمیل کی تاریخیں طے کر رکھی تھیں، وہ دن رات زیر تعمیر ہیں۔ اسلام آباد ایکسپریس وے، آئی جے پرنسپل روڈ، مارگلہ ایونیو ایکسٹینشن اور دیگر منصوبوں پر اس وقت ڈویلپمنٹ اتھارٹی کام کر رہی ہے۔
اسلام آباد فوڈ اتھارٹی کی پارلیمنٹ پہلے ہی منظوری دے چکی ہے، اب کیپٹن (ر) عثمان اس پر سرگرمی سے کام کریں گے۔
سی ڈی اے کے چیئرمین، جو اسلام آباد کیپٹل ٹیریٹری (آئی سی ٹی) کے چیف کمشنر کے طور پر بھی خدمات انجام دیتے ہیں، نے کہا کہ وہ صفائی کی وجوہات کی بناء پر مشینری خریدنے کے مخالف تھے کیونکہ اس طرح کے آلات کی دیکھ بھال سے اتھارٹی پر خاصا مالی دباؤ پڑے گا۔
اتھارٹی اب پانچ پارکنگ لاٹوں پر کام کر رہی ہے جبکہ اگلے 25 سے 30 سالوں میں ہمسایہ اضلاع کی انتظامیہ کے ساتھ شہر سے باہر ٹھکانے لگانے کے مناسب مقام کا انتخاب کیا جائے گا۔
