CPEC Authority to initiate more projects in Faisalabad: Asim Saleem Bajwa

After the great success of Allam Iqbal Industrial City Special Economic Zone (SEZ), Lt Gen Asim Saleem Bajwa, the Authority Chairman of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) has made an announcement of initiating more projects in Faisalabad.

He gave this statement on his visit to Allam Iqbal Industrial City and the authorities who attended the meeting were Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) President Engineer Hafiz Ihtasham Javed, Faisalabad Industrial Estate Development & Management Company (FIEDMC) Chairman Mian Kashif Ashfaq, and some other departments.

According to Mr.Bajwa, Allama Iqbal Industrial City Special Economic Zone was a flagship project of CPEC that would result in Chinese investors shifting their high tech industrial units here in the coming phase of CPEC.

He added that Faisalabad is too important for Pakistan in terms of Industrial Business and Commercial value. The infrastructure of the city will be improved so that the foreign attention can shift their attention in this city.

Answering one question regarding initiation of more projects of CPEC in Faisalabad, he said that upgrading of Faisalabad`s airport is also given a thought and discussions upon it are still in progress.

If technical institute will provide skilled manpower that would be established under CPEC Authority, then this mission will no more be difficult to achieve.

فیصل آباد: چین پاکستان اقتصادی راہداری (سی پیک) اتھارٹی کے چیئرمین نے اعلان کیا ہے کہ فیصل آباد میں مزید منصوبے شروع کیے جائیں گے۔

علامہ اقبال انڈسٹریل سٹی اسپیشل اکنامک زون (ایس ای زیڈ) کی بڑی کامیابی کے بعد ، چین پاکستان اقتصادی راہداری (سی پیک) کے اتھارٹی کے چیئرمین لیفٹیننٹ جنرل عاصم سلیم باجوہ نے فیصل آباد میں مزید منصوبے شروع کرنے کا اعلان کیا ہے۔

انہوں نے یہ بیان علیم انڈسٹریل سٹی کے دورے کے موقع پر دیا اور اجلاس میں شرکت کرنے والے حکام فیصل آباد چیمبر آف کامرس اینڈ انڈسٹری (ایف سی سی آئی) کے صدر انجینئر حافظ احتشام جاوید ، فیصل آباد انڈسٹریل اسٹیٹ ڈویلپمنٹ اینڈ مینجمنٹ کمپنی (ایف آئی ای ڈی ایم سی) کے چیئرمین میاں کاشف اشفاق ، اور کچھ دوسرے محکمے۔

مسٹر باجوہ کے مطابق ، علامہ اقبال انڈسٹریل سٹی اسپیشل اکنامک زون سی پی ای سی کا ایک پرچم بردار منصوبہ تھا جس کے نتیجے میں چینی سرمایہ کار اپنے اعلی ٹیک صنعتی یونٹوں کو یہاں سی پی ای سی کے آنے والے مرحلے میں منتقل کردیں گے۔

انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ صنعتی بزنس اور کمرشل ویلیو کے لحاظ سے فیصل آباد پاکستان کے لئے بہت اہم ہے۔ شہر کے بنیادی ڈھانچے کو بہتر بنایا جائے گا تاکہ غیر ملکی توجہ اس شہر میں اپنی توجہ کو تبدیل کر سکے۔

فیصل آباد میں سی پی ای سی کے مزید منصوبوں کے آغاز سے متعلق ایک سوال کے جواب میں ، انہوں نے کہا کہ فیصل آباد کے ہوائی اڈے کی اپ گریڈیشن پر بھی ایک سوچ دی گئی ہے ، اور اس پر بات چیت جاری ہے۔

اگر کوئی تکنیکی انسٹی ٹیوٹ ہنر مند افرادی قوت مہیا کرے گا جو سی پی ای سی اتھارٹی کے تحت قائم کیا جائے گا ، تب اس مشن کو حاصل کرنا مزید مشکل نہیں ہوگا۔
