Construction on the Hafizabad-Gujrat Road will begin soon

The construction of the road will be an important piece of the Gujrat division's infrastructure. According to the government's tender, PKR 8.2 billion will be spent on the project. It is about to get underway from the University of Hafizabad campus, which is still under construction, up to Khanki headworks, which touches the border of Gujrat district.

From there, a 19-kilometer road is already being constructed up to Machiana village, which is where the divisional complex of Gujrat is planned to go.

To increase communication between Hafizabad district and the recently constructed Alipur Chattha tehsil of Wazirabad district and the divisional headquarters, the existing narrow road along the Lower Chenab Canal (LCC) bank would be carpeted and enlarged up to 44 feet.

The Punjab government has approved the partition of Gujrat, Mandi Bahauddin, and Hafiz Abad into a distinct 10th division.

سڑک کی تعمیر گجرات ڈویژن کے بنیادی ڈھانچے کا ایک اہم حصہ ہو گی۔ حکومت کے ٹینڈر کے مطابق اس منصوبے پر 8.2 بلین روپے خرچ ہوں گے۔ یہ یونیورسٹی آف حافظ آباد کیمپس سے شروع ہونے والا ہے، جو ابھی زیر تعمیر ہے، خانکی ہیڈ ورکس تک، جو ضلع گجرات کی سرحد کو چھوتی ہے۔
وہاں سے مچیانہ گاؤں تک 19 کلو میٹر سڑک پہلے ہی بنائی جا رہی ہے، جہاں سے گجرات کے ڈویژنل کمپلیکس جانے کا منصوبہ ہے۔
حافظ آباد ضلع اور وزیر آباد ضلع کی حال ہی میں تعمیر ہونے والی تحصیل علی پور چٹھہ اور ڈویژنل ہیڈکوارٹر کے درمیان رابطے بڑھانے کے لیے، لوئر چناب کینال (ایل سی سی) کے کنارے موجودہ تنگ سڑک کو کارپٹ کیا جائے گا اور اسے 44 فٹ تک بڑھایا جائے گا۔
پنجاب حکومت نے گجرات، منڈی بہاؤالدین اور حافظ آباد کو الگ الگ 10ویں ڈویژن میں تقسیم کرنے کی منظوری دے دی ہے۔
