Construction of the Soan River Bridge has underway by the National Highway Authority

The Soan River Bridge will be enlarged from two to four lanes on each side, according to a National Highway Authority (NHA) official.

He continued by saying that the construction was stopped in April of this year. To expand the Soan River Bridge, a new contract has been given to Frontier Works Organization (FWO).

It was also mentioned that travellers are having issues because of the bridge and the neighbouring areas' residual construction debris.

However, since the safety barriers on the bridge have been removed, commuters going from Rawat to Rawalpindi experience difficulties.

The responsible authority has been given instructions to speed up and finish the work as quickly as feasible.
