Construction of Mauripur Expressway, ICI Interchange Project approved

According to the news sources, He took this and other decisions while directing the 35th meeting of the provincial Public-Private Partnership Board. This meeting was held on Friday at the CM House.

Shah directed the officials concerned to expedite work on the Malir Expressway, the launch of the NED Tech Park project, and the handover of four teachers’ training institutions to private parties to impart the best teachers’ training in the province.

Malir Expressway

According to the news sources, the meeting was told that a 12km track for the Malir Expressway had been leveled, and there was a slight issue of alignment at Sumo Goth where a scheme to construct a bridge was required to be implemented.

The chief minister approved minor changes in the alignment and directed DG PPP Unit Khalid Shaikh to speed up work on the project so that it could be completed.

Mauripur Expressway

According to the details, the meeting was told that the Mauripur Expressway and the ICI Interchange Project would be built on the basis of “designed, build, finance, operate, maintain and transfer” through a concession agreement.

NED Technology Park

During the meeting NED technology Park has also been approved, The PPP policy board permitted the establishment of a NED Technology Park on the campus of the university with the core objective of building an innovative ecosystem.

نیوز ذرائع کے مطابق انہوں نے یہ اور دیگر فیصلے صوبائی پبلک پرائیویٹ پارٹنرشپ بورڈ کے 35ویں اجلاس کی ہدایت کرتے ہوئے کئے۔ یہ ملاقات جمعہ کو وزیراعلیٰ ہاؤس میں ہوئی۔
شاہ نے متعلقہ حکام کو صوبے میں اساتذہ کی بہترین تربیت فراہم کرنے کے لیے ملیر ایکسپریس وے، این ای ڈی ٹیک پارک پراجیکٹ کے آغاز اور اساتذہ کی تربیت کے چار اداروں کو نجی جماعتوں کے حوالے کرنے کے کام کو تیز کرنے کی ہدایت کی۔
ملیر ایکسپریس وے
نیوز ذرائع کے مطابق اجلاس میں بتایا گیا کہ ملیر ایکسپریس وے کے لیے 12 کلومیٹر کا ٹریک لیول کر دیا گیا ہے، سومو گوٹھ میں الائنمنٹ کا معمولی مسئلہ تھا جہاں پر پل بنانے کی اسکیم پر عمل درآمد کی ضرورت تھی۔
وزیراعلیٰ نے الائنمنٹ میں معمولی تبدیلیوں کی منظوری دی اور ڈی جی پی پی پی یونٹ خالد شیخ کو ہدایت کی کہ منصوبے پر کام کی رفتار تیز کی جائے تاکہ اسے مکمل کیا جاسکے۔
ماڑی پور ایکسپریس وے
تفصیلات کے مطابق اجلاس میں بتایا گیا کہ ماڑی پور ایکسپریس وے اور آئی سی آئی انٹر چینج پروجیکٹ ایک رعایتی معاہدے کے ذریعے ’’ڈیزائنڈ، بلڈ، فنانس، آپریٹ، مینٹین اینڈ ٹرانسفر‘‘ کی بنیاد پر بنائے جائیں گے۔
این ای ڈی ٹیکنالوجی پارک
اجلاس کے دوران این ای ڈی ٹیکنالوجی پارک کی بھی منظوری دی گئی، پی پی پی پالیسی بورڈ نے ایک جدید ماحولیاتی نظام کی تعمیر کے بنیادی مقصد کے ساتھ یونیورسٹی کے کیمپس میں این ای ڈی ٹیکنالوجی پارک کے قیام کی اجازت دی۔
