4 major concession agreements for Kohala Hydropower Project include Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), Pakistan Federal Government Implementation Agreement.

AJ&K Government Implementation Agreement & Water Use Agreement

The successful signing of the agreements is an important milestone for the completion of the preliminary work of the Kohala Hydropower Project, laying a good foundation for the next development & construction of the project.

The KHPP is one of the priority projects for energy cooperation in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. The installed capacity of the power station is 1124 MW and the designed annual power generation capacity is over 5.1 billion kilowatt-hours.

After the completion of the project, it will significantly improve the power supply environment of the AJ&K area and promote the social and economic development of Pakistan and the AJ&K area.

کوہالہ ہائیڈرو پاور پروجیکٹ کے لئے 4 بڑے مراعات کے معاہدوں میں بجلی خریداری کا معاہدہ (پی پی اے) ، پاکستان فیڈرل گورنمنٹ کا عمل درآمد معاہدہ شامل ہے۔
آزاد جموں و کشمیر حکومت کے نفاذ کے معاہدے اور پانی کے استعمال کا معاہدہ بھی اس میں شامل ہیں. ۔

معاہدوں پر کامیابی سے دستخط کرنا کوہالہ ہائیڈرو پاور پروجیکٹ کے ابتدائی کام کی تکمیل کے لئے ایک اہم سنگ میل ہے ، اس منصوبے کی اگلی ترقی اور تعمیر کے لئے ایک اچھی بنیاد رکھے گی۔

چین پاکستان اقتصادی راہداری میں توانائی کے تعاون کے لئے کے ایچ پی پی ایک ترجیحی منصوبہ ہے۔ پاور اسٹیشن کی نصب شدہ گنجائش 1124 میگاواٹ ہے اور سالانہ بجلی پیدا کرنے کی گنجائش 5.1 بلین کلو واٹ گھنٹے سے زیادہ ہے۔

منصوبے کی تکمیل کے بعد ، اس سے آزاد جموں و کشمیر کے علاقے میں بجلی کی فراہمی کے ماحول میں نمایاں بہتری آئے گی اور پاکستان اور آزاد جموں و کشمیر کے معاشرتی و معاشی ترقی کو فروغ ملے گا۔
