Computerization of land records to start soon: SMBR

According to the news sources, Director General PLRA Sohail Ashraf gave a briefing on the performance of the authority. Senior Member Board of Revenue on this occasion said that a project for computerization of urban land records and all maps would be started soon in collaboration with the Punjab govt and the World Bank.

This initiative is really helpful in a way to get the desired information regarding land authority. These initiatives will computerize and integrate the land administration system and will make it possible to get all land records information and services in Punjab with a single click.

According to the news sources, The Senior Member highlighted the need for coordination and professional liaison between PLRA officers, other staff, and field revenue staff. He directed that PLRA officers would also be entrusted with the responsibility of verification of computerized girdawaris. He also appreciated the service structure for the welfare and promotion of the staff.

Furthermore, it was decided in the meeting that the agreement between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and PLRA would be signed soon and services would be started from the Overseas Arazi Record Centre.

یہ اقدام زمینی اتھارٹی کے حوالے سے مطلوبہ معلومات حاصل کرنے کے لیے واقعی مددگار ہے۔ یہ اقدامات لینڈ ایڈمنسٹریشن سسٹم کو کمپیوٹرائز اور مربوط کریں گے اور پنجاب میں تمام اراضی ریکارڈ کی معلومات اور خدمات کو ایک کلک سے حاصل کرنا ممکن بنائیں گے۔
نیوز ذرائع کے مطابق، سینئر ممبر نے (پی ایل آر اے) افسران، دیگر عملے اور فیلڈ ریونیو سٹاف کے درمیان ہم آہنگی اور پیشہ ورانہ رابطے کی ضرورت پر روشنی ڈالی۔ انہوں نے ہدایت کی کہ پی ایل آر اے افسران کو کمپیوٹرائزڈ گرداوریوں کی تصدیق کی ذمہ داری بھی سونپی جائے گی۔ انہوں نے عملے کی فلاح و بہبود اور ترقی کے لیے سروس سٹرکچر کو بھی سراہا۔
مزید برآں، اجلاس میں فیصلہ کیا گیا کہ وزارت خارجہ اور (پی ایل آر اے) کے درمیان جلد ہی معاہدے پر دستخط کیے جائیں گے اور اوورسیز ارازی ریکارڈ سنٹر سے خدمات شروع کی جائیں گی۔
