Commissioner Lahore Takes Strict Action Against LDA Avenue-I Land Grabbers

LAHORE: A large operation was carried out at LDA Avenue-I in response to the orders of Commissioner Lahore and Director General (DG) Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Muhammad Ali Randhawa to address the issue of illegal structures and encroachments on parking spaces. (Reported by news source)
LDA workers demolished sheds, boards, floors, and other unauthorized buildings at more than 35 business sites during the Thursday operation. Over 20 properties were also shut as part of the operation.
A large contingent of police officers and heavy machinery took part in the operation, which was overseen by Additional DG Housing Captain (retd) Shahmir Iqbal. The land grabber mafia had illegally grabbed more than 10 Kanal of land in L-Block that was initially intended for road building.

ایل ڈی اے کے کارکنوں نے جمعرات کی کارروائی کے دوران 35 سے زائد کاروباری مقامات پر شیڈز، بورڈز، فرش اور دیگر غیر مجاز عمارتوں کو مسمار کر دیا۔
آپریشن کے تحت 20 سے زائد املاک کو بھی بند کر دیا گیا۔
آپریشن میں پولیس افسران اور بھاری مشینری کی بھاری نفری نے حصہ لیا جس کی نگرانی ایڈیشنل ڈی جی ہاؤسنگ کیپٹن (ر) شہمیر اقبال نے کی۔
لینڈ گرابر مافیا نے ایل بلاک میں 10 کنال سے زائد اراضی پر غیر قانونی طور پر قبضہ کر رکھا تھا جو ابتدائی طور پر سڑک کی تعمیر کے لیے رکھی گئی تھی۔
