CM wants work on Peshawar Revival Plan accelerated

He issued the directives while chairing a meeting on Tuesday, said a handout. The focal person to the chief minister for the Peshawar Revival Plan and Member Provincial Assembly Asif Khan, administrative secretaries, and other relevant officials attended the meeting.

The chief minister directed the commissioner Peshawar to work as the focal person to monitor all the activities being carried out under the plan and submit him a report after every 15 days to ensure physical progress on the projects.

The participants of the meeting were informed that under the plan, work was underway in the seven different sectors, including the eradication of encroachments, beautification, plantation and flow of vehicular traffic, etc.

It was informed that 203 Kanal government land had been retrieved so far in the operation against encroachments whereas wall chalking from 28 km long different walls was removed.

It was added that 23 different operations had been carried out in the Karkhano market. During the operations, 62 Kanal state land was retrieved and over 1900 encroachments removed including 550 shops, 750 cabins, and 603 hand carts.

The participants of the meeting were told that work was in progress on the green belt and beautification of the central median from Motorway Toll Plaza to Pir Zakori flyover whereas work on the face-lifting of shops, and removal of slum areas had been completed.

The fixing of Led lights on the electric poles on the Ring Road was in progress.

پشاور: وزیراعلیٰ محمود خان نے متعلقہ محکموں کو پشاور کے احیاء کے منصوبے پر کام کی رفتار تیز کرنے کی ہدایت کی ہے۔

انہوں نے یہ ہدایات منگل کو ایک اجلاس کی صدارت کرتے ہوئے جاری کیں۔ پشاور کے احیاء کے منصوبے کے لیے وزیر اعلیٰ کے فوکل پرسن اور رکن صوبائی اسمبلی آصف خان ، انتظامی سیکرٹریوں اور دیگر متعلقہ حکام نے اجلاس میں شرکت کی۔

وزیراعلیٰ نے کمشنر پشاور کو ہدایت کی کہ وہ فوکل پرسن کی حیثیت سے کام کریں تاکہ منصوبہ بندی کے تحت کی جانے والی تمام سرگرمیوں کی نگرانی کی جائے اور ہر 15 دن کے بعد انہیں رپورٹ پیش کی جائے تاکہ منصوبوں پر جسمانی پیش رفت کو یقینی بنایا جا سکے۔

اجلاس کے شرکاء کو بتایا گیا کہ منصوبے کے تحت سات مختلف شعبوں میں کام جاری ہے جن میں تجاوزات کا خاتمہ ، خوبصورتی ، شجرکاری اور گاڑیوں کی آمدورفت وغیرہ شامل ہیں۔

بتایا گیا کہ تجاوزات کے خلاف آپریشن میں اب تک 203 کنال سرکاری اراضی واگزار کرائی جا چکی ہے جبکہ 28 کلومیٹر طویل مختلف دیواروں سے وال چاکنگ کو ہٹا دیا گیا ہے۔

مزید کہا گیا کہ کارخانو مارکیٹ میں 23 مختلف آپریشن کیے گئے۔ آپریشن کے دوران 62 کنال سرکاری اراضی واگزار کرائی گئی اور 1900 سے زائد تجاوزات ہٹائی گئیں جن میں 550 دکانیں ، 750 کیبن اور 603 ہینڈ کارٹ شامل ہیں۔

اجلاس کے شرکاء کو بتایا گیا کہ گرین بیلٹ پر کام جاری ہے اور موٹر وے ٹول پلازہ سے پیر زکوری فلائی اوور تک سینٹرل میڈین کی خوبصورتی کا کام جاری ہے جبکہ دکانوں کے چہرے کو اٹھانے اور کچی آبادیوں کو ہٹانے کا کام مکمل ہو چکا ہے۔

رنگ روڈ پر بجلی کے کھمبوں پر ایل ای ڈی لائٹس لگانے کا کام جاری تھا۔
