CM approves PC-I of elevated expressway project

According to the news sources, Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar chaired the governing body meeting of Lahore Development Authority at his office which, in principle, approved PC-I of the elevated expressway project from Main Gulberg to Motorway-II.

The chief minister directed the department concerned to determine the financing mechanism of the elevated expressway project while stressing for early completion as this project was the need of the Labourites.

According to the details, the consultant gave a presentation on the Lahore Division's master plan 2050, and the participants agreed to form a supervision committee in concept. The chief minister is instructed to align this plan with evolving demands, with a workable strategy to be submitted following conversations with stakeholders. While the Chief Minister was told to speed up the process.

نیوز ذرائع کے مطابق وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب سردار عثمان بزدار کی زیرصدارت لاہور ڈویلپمنٹ اتھارٹی کی گورننگ باڈی کا اجلاس ہوا جس میں مین گلبرگ سے موٹروے ٹو تک ایلیویٹڈ ایکسپریس وے منصوبے کے (پی سی-1) کی اصولی منظوری دی گئی۔
وزیراعلیٰ نے متعلقہ محکمے کو ہدایت کی کہ ایلیویٹڈ ایکسپریس وے منصوبے کے فنانسنگ میکنزم کا تعین کیا جائے اور اسے جلد مکمل کرنے پر زور دیا کیونکہ یہ منصوبہ لاہوریوں کی ضرورت ہے۔
تفصیلات کے مطابق کنسلٹنٹ نے لاہور ڈویژن کے ماسٹر پلان 2050 کے بارے میں بریفنگ دی جبکہ شرکاء نے اس کے لیے نگران کمیٹی تشکیل دینے کا اصولی فیصلہ کیا۔ وزیراعلیٰ کو ہدایت کی گئی ہے کہ وہ اس پلان کو ابھرتی ہوئی ضروریات کے ساتھ ہم آہنگ کریں اور مزید کہا کہ اسٹیک ہولڈرز کے ساتھ بات چیت کے بعد ایک قابل عمل حکمت عملی پیش کی جاتی ہے۔ جبکہ وزیراعلیٰ کو کام کی رفتار تیز کرنے کی ہدایت کی گئی۔
