Clean Green Project to be expanded to six more Baluchistan cities

In a conversation with reporters in this week, Mr Aslam stated that under this project 10 billion trees were being planted across the country and more than 100,000 volunteers signed up with the project for the purpose.

Making Pakistan clean and green is one of the top priorities of the government. The same project was implemented in different cities of Punjab and positive results were recorded.

Malik Amin Aslam furthermore stated that after the completion of the 18^th amendment, the cleaning work and tree plantation was responsibility of the provincial government. Meanwhile, the federal government was working closely with the provincial governments to create a comprehensive garbage disposal system.

The garbage disposing system is designed to make the country clean and disinfected.

The overall budget for the project worth around Rs24 billion.

کوئٹہ: وزیر اعظم عمران خان کے معاون خصوصی برائے موسمیاتی تبدیلی ملک امین اسلم نے بتایا کہ وزیر اعظم کے صاف ستھرا اور سبز پاکستان مہم منصوبے میں بلوچستان کے 6 شہروں کو شامل کیا گیا ہے۔

اس ہفتے صحافیوں سے گفتگو میں مسٹر اسلم نے بتایا کہ اس منصوبے کے تحت ملک بھر میں 10 ارب درخت لگائے جارہے ہیں اور اس مقصد کے لئے ایک لاکھ سے زیادہ رضاکاروں نے اس منصوبے کے ساتھ دستخط کیے۔

پاکستان کو صاف ستھرا اور ہرے رنگ بنانا حکومت کی اولین ترجیحات میں شامل ہے۔ اسی منصوبے کوپنجاب کے مختلف شہروں میں نافذ کیا گیا تھا اور مثبت نتائج ریکارڈ کیے گئے تھے۔

ملک امین اسلم نے مزید بتایا کہ 18 ویں ترمیم کی تکمیل کے بعد صفائی کا کام اور درخت لگانے کی ذمہ داری صوبائی حکومت کی تھی۔ دریں اثناء ، وفاقی حکومت کچرا ضائع کرنے کا ایک جامع نظام تشکیل دینے کے لئے صوبائی حکومتوں کے ساتھ مل کر کام کر رہی ہے۔

کوڑے کو ٹھکانے لگانے کا نظام ملک کو صاف ستھرا اور جراثیم کش بنانے کے لئے ڈیزائن کیا گیا ہے۔

اس منصوبے کا مجموعی بجٹ تقریبا24 24 ارب روپے ہے۔
