Chinese Machinery Giant Contributes to Wind Power Construction in Pakistan

According to the news sources, China’s machinery giant, Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science and Technology has made another contribution to Pakistan’s wind power construction as its crane completed lifting of the largest wind turbine in Pakistan.

According to the details, Zoomlion’s ZCC5800 crane raised the world’s largest wind turbine (2.5 megawatts) to a central height of 90 meters, weighing nearly 90 tonnes.

Indus Wind, ACT 2 Wind, Lakeside Energy, Din Energy, Tricom Wind, and Liberty Wind are just a few of the wind construction projects that the mobile crane has completed in Pakistan.

According to the news sources, Simon, Country Manager of Zoomlion Concrete Machinery Overseas Marketing Company, claimed that as the largest crane manufacturer in wind power construction in Pakistan, Zoomlion has constructed more than 500 megawatts of renewable energy for Pakistan.

Pakistan has begun to develop wind power facilities as part of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) to promote the concept of a green economy. Wind power accounts for more than 6% of the country’s total electricity generation.

خبر رساں ذرائع کے مطابق چین کی مشینری کمپنی زوملیون ہیوی انڈسٹری سائنس اینڈ ٹیکنالوجی نے پاکستان کی ونڈ پاور کی تعمیر میں ایک اور کردار ادا کیا ہے کیونکہ اس کی کرین نے پاکستان میں سب سے بڑی ونڈ ٹربائن کی لفٹنگ مکمل کر لی ہے۔
تفصیلات کے مطابق،زوملیون کی زیڈ سی سی-5800 کرین نے دنیا کی سب سے بڑی ونڈ ٹربائن (2.5 میگا واٹ) کو 90 میٹر کی مرکزی اونچائی تک پہنچایا، جس کا وزن تقریباً 90 ٹن تھا۔

نیوز ذرائع کے مطابق زوملیون کنکریٹ مشینری اوورسیز مارکیٹنگ کمپنی کے کنٹری منیجر سائمن نے دعویٰ کیا کہ پاکستان میں ونڈ پاور کی تعمیر میں کرین بنانے والی سب سے بڑی کمپنی کے طور پر زوملیون نے پاکستان کے لیے 500 میگاواٹ سے زائد قابل تجدید توانائی کی تعمیر کی ہے۔
پاکستان نے سبز معیشت کے تصور کو فروغ دینے کے لیے بیلٹ اینڈ روڈ انیشیٹو (بی آر آئ) کے حصے کے طور پر ہوا سے بجلی کی سہولیات تیار کرنا شروع کر دی ہیں۔ ملک کی کل بجلی کی پیداوار کا 6 فیصد سے زیادہ حصہ ہوا سے حاصل ہوتا ہے۔
