Chinese companies want to establish a $3.5 billion Reprocessing Park in Gwadar

While talking to the media on Friday Khalid Mansoor, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has met with several Chinese state-owned and private companies who have expressed an interest in establishing a $3.5 billion reprocessing park in Gwadar and a $350 million textile cluster near Lahore.

According to the news sources, Khalid Mansoor, who is going with the PM on his four-day visit to China, told the media that a group of three Chinese enterprises has articulated interest in constructing a metal and paper re-processing park in Gwadar within two to three years.

He said the PM had a “clear dialogue” with personnel from the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), who promised their complete support and dedication to completing the second phase of CPEC on time and budget.

While talking to the media he further informed that the prime minister had been guaranteed that collaborative working groups in ten different sectors would give technological and financial assistance for project implementation.

خبر رساں ذرائع کے مطابق وزیراعظم کے ساتھ اپنے چار روزہ دورہ چین پر جانے والے خالد منصور نے میڈیا کو بتایا کہ تین چینی کاروباری اداروں کے گروپ نے گوادر میں میٹل اور پیپر ری پروسیسنگ پارک کی تعمیر میں دلچسپی ظاہر کی ہے۔ دو سے تین سال.
انہوں نے کہا کہ وزیر اعظم کی نیشنل ڈویلپمنٹ اینڈ ریفارم کمیشن (این ڈی آر سی) کے اہلکاروں کے ساتھ "واضح بات چیت" ہوئی، جنہوں نے (سی پیک) کے دوسرے مرحلے کو وقت اور بجٹ پر مکمل کرنے کے لیے اپنی مکمل حمایت اور لگن کا وعدہ کیا۔
میڈیا سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے انہوں نے مزید بتایا کہ وزیر اعظم کو یقین دلایا گیا ہے کہ دس مختلف شعبوں میں کام کرنے والے باہمی تعاون کے ساتھ کام کرنے والے گروپ پراجیکٹ پر عمل درآمد کے لیے تکنیکی اور مالی معاونت کریں گے۔
