Chinese Companies to Invest in Pakistan's medicine sector

Chinese companies recently invested in the medicine sector of Islamabad’s medicine sector further deepening their cooperation with Pakistan which was reported by the CEN (China Economic Net) on Saturday.

Xin Chunlin, from CanSino, said at a CPEC conference that they expected to deepen their cooperation with Pakistan by providing them with around 20 million doses of the vaccine.
CanSino is a well-known Chinese pharmaceutical company that had launched a single-dose vaccine for COVID-19 in Pakistan. It was later on branded as PakVac which was being produced locally in Pakistan since last year.

A conference which was organized by the Board of Investment (BOI), providers of the new drugs which included Luye Life Sciences group, Guangzhou Baiyunshan Zhongyi Pharmaceutical, Guangzoy Qixing Pharmaceutical also expressed their willingness to potentially cooperate with the available Pakistani partners.

کین سینو سے تعلق رکھنے والے زین چنلین نے سی پی ای سی کانفرنس میں کہا کہ انہیں توقع ہے کہ وہ پاکستان کو ویکسین کی تقریبا 20 ملین خوراکیں فراہم کرکے ان کے ساتھ اپنے تعاون کو مزید گہرا کریں گے۔

نئی ادویات فراہم کرنے والے بورڈ آف انویسٹمنٹ (بی او آئی) کی جانب سے منعقد کی گئی ایک کانفرنس جس میں لوئے لائف سائنسز گروپ، گوانگژو بائیونشان ژونگی فارماسیوٹیکل، گوانگزوئے کیوکسنگ فارماسیوٹیکل شامل تھے، نے بھی دستیاب پاکستانی شراکت داروں کے ساتھ ممکنہ تعاون پر آمادگی کا اظہار کیا۔
