China formally requested to include Babusar Top Tunnel in the CPEC umbrella projects

The proposal for the inclusion of the Babusar Top Tunnel will be formally presented in the next meeting of CPEC Joint Coordination Committee meeting.

While visiting the Diamer Basha Dam, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced the construction of the tunnel on a priority basis. This decision came forward to help facilitate the availability of funds and ensure the swift completion of this project by including the project under the CPEC Umbrella.

The execution of this project is being conducted by the National Highway Authority, and the Feasibility Study in this regard has been completed. The construction of the Babusar Tunnel (N-15) has been initiated which will help connect the Kaghan Valley and Chilas, Gilgit Baltistan, and will be conducted on an expedited basis.

بابوسر ٹاپ ٹنل کو شامل کرنے کی تجویز باضابطہ طور پر سی پیک جوائنٹ کوآرڈینیشن کمیٹی کے اگلے اجلاس میں پیش کی جائے گی۔
دیامر بھاشا ڈیم کا دورہ کرتے ہوئے وزیراعظم شہباز شریف نے ٹنل کی تعمیر ترجیحی بنیادوں پر کرنے کا اعلان کیا۔ یہ فیصلہ فنڈز کی دستیابی کو آسان بنانے اور اس منصوبے کو CPEC امبریلا پراجیکٹس کے تحت شامل کر کے اس منصوبے کی تیزی سے تکمیل کو یقینی بنانے کے لیے سامنے آیا ہے۔
اس منصوبے پر عمل درآمد نیشنل ہائی وے اتھارٹی کر رہی ہے اور اس سلسلے میں فزیبلٹی سٹڈی مکمل کر لی گئی ہے۔ بابوسر ٹنل (N-15) کی تعمیر شروع کر دی گئی ہے جس سے وادی کاغان اور چلاس، گلگت بلتستان کو ملانے میں مدد ملے گی اور اس پر تیزی سے کام کیا جائے گا۔
