ISLAMABAD: On Tuesday, the PC-Is for two projects—the expansion and renovation of Park Road and the Bhara Kahu bypass project—will be discussed at a meeting of the Capital Development Authority's (CDA) Development Working Party (DWP). (Reported by news source)
According to a representative of the civic organization, the meeting will be presided over by retired Capt. Mohammad Usman, the CDA Chairman.
Due to the mushrooming growth of homes and structures over the past two decades, this 7.4km route has experienced traffic congestion.
According to CDA authorities, the PC-I would add one more lane on each side, making it a three-lane artery, and overhaul and repair work would be done on the current lanes.
Two interchanges and two underpasses will be part of this project. The CDA originally had a 7.8 km long bypass road planned, but eventually scrapped the project and proposed a new, 5 km plus flyover.
According to a CDA representative, the CDA-DWP will accept the project's PC-I on Tuesday.
We are hopeful that the construction work would officially begin in the upcoming weeks and be finished within the four-month timeline set by the prime minister.

شہری تنظیم کے نمائندے کے مطابق اجلاس کی صدارت سی ڈی اے کے چیئرمین ریٹائرڈ کیپٹن محمد عثمان کریں گے۔
پچھلی دو دہائیوں کے دوران گھروں اور ڈھانچے کی بڑھتی ہوئی ترقی کی وجہ سے، اس 7.4 کلومیٹر کے راستے پر ٹریفک کی بھیڑ رہی ہے۔
سی ڈی اے حکام کے مطابق پی سی ون میں ہر طرف ایک مزید لین کا اضافہ کیا جائے گا جس سے یہ تین لین کی شریان بنے گی اور موجودہ لین پر مرمت اور مرمت کا کام کیا جائے گا۔
دو انٹر چینج اور دو انڈر پاس اس منصوبے کا حصہ ہوں گے۔ سی ڈی اے نے اصل میں 7.8 کلومیٹر طویل بائی پاس سڑک کا منصوبہ بنایا تھا، لیکن آخر کار اس منصوبے کو ختم کر دیا اور ایک نئے، 5 کلومیٹر پلس فلائی اوور کی تجویز پیش کی۔
CDA کے نمائندے کے مطابق CDA-DWP منگل کو پراجیکٹ کے PC-I کو قبول کرے گا۔
ہمیں امید ہے کہ تعمیراتی کام باضابطہ طور پر آنے والے ہفتوں میں شروع ہو جائے گا اور وزیر اعظم کی طرف سے مقرر کردہ چار ماہ کی ٹائم لائن کے اندر مکمل ہو جائے گا۔
