CDA took an Initiative of Removing Wild Bushes

The Environment Wing of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has taken the initiative of removing wild bushes, as well as grass specifically from roads where they are the problem to the traffic, and vehicles.

The campaign for removing excessive growth from the residential areas too is now at its peak with various teams consecutively working to regain the beauty of the capital.

Wild bushes and shrubs not only harm natural beauty but also act as breeding places for insects as well as pests. The large-sized bushes bring blockage in the visibility of the motorcycle rider and can lead to accidents.

The campaign to remove wild bushes and grass will continue to spread, and grow along with the drive of planting more trees in the city. The purpose is to regain the beauty, and beautifying the green factor of Islamabad, spreading greenery.

The teams are formed for this purpose which is currently working on the western side of Islamabad, and their prior focus is upon residential areas. They are also bringing into use the light machinery to lift up thick bushes from parks, streets, roads, and other areas.

The civic agency has constituted a plan for roadside vegetation which includes the safety of the motorcycle riders, bringing improvement to the aesthetic quality, and also bringing efficiency to the maintenance of operations.

All those trees which are dead or leaned down due to the weakening of root systems will be removed, and the highways will be decorated with natural beauty by growing new trees.

The Director-General Environment of CDA said that Islamabad falls amongst one of the green capitals existing in the world. Hence, it is our duty to do whatever it takes to maintain the natural greenery of Islamabad.

He further said that the plantation drive is ongoing, and thousands of saplings of local plant species are planted by coordinating with the climate change ministry, along with non-governmental organizations (NGOs).

“The work on beautification of the parks is also being done to provide visitors with a new joyful experience. We are also making efforts to further beautify Fatima Jinnah Park,” he said.

کیپیٹل ڈویلپمنٹ اتھارٹی (سی ڈی اے) کے ماحولیاتی شعبے نے جنگلی جھاڑیوں کے ساتھ ساتھ خاص طور پر سڑکوں سے گھاسوں کو بھی ہٹانے کا اقدام کیا ہے جہاں انہیں ٹریفک اور گاڑیوں کا مسئلہ ہے۔

رہائشی علاقوں سے بھی ضرورت سے زیادہ نمو دور کرنے کی مہم اب اپنے عروج پر ہے جس میں مختلف ٹیمیں دارالحکومت کی خوبصورتی کو دوبارہ حاصل کرنے کے لئے مستقل طور پر کام کر رہی ہیں۔

جنگلی جھاڑیوں اور جھاڑیوں سے نہ صرف قدرتی خوبصورتی کو نقصان ہوتا ہے بلکہ وہ کیڑوں کے ساتھ ساتھ کیڑوں کے افزائش کے مقام کے طور پر بھی کام کرتے ہیں۔ موٹرسائیکل سواروں کی نمائش میں بڑے سائز کی جھاڑیوں میں رکاوٹ آتی ہے ، اور یہ حادثات کا سبب بن سکتی ہے۔

جنگلی جھاڑیوں اور گھاس کو ختم کرنے کی مہم پھیلتی ہی رہے گی ، اور شہر میں مزید درخت لگانے کی مہم کے ساتھ ساتھ اس میں اضافہ بھی ہوگا۔ اس کا مقصد خوبصورتی کو دوبارہ حاصل کرنا ، اور اسلام آباد کے سبز عنصر کو خوبصورت بنانا ، ہرے پھیلانا ہے۔

شہری ایجنسی نے سڑک کے کنارے پودوں کے ل a ایک منصوبہ تشکیل دیا ہے جس میں موٹرسائیکل سواروں کی حفاظت ، جمالیاتی معیار میں بہتری لانا ، اور آپریشنوں کی بحالی میں بھی کارکردگی شامل ہے۔

وہ تمام درخت جو جڑوں کے نظام کو کمزور کرنے کی وجہ سے مردہ یا دبلے ہوئے ہیں ان کو ختم کر دیا جائے گا ، اور شاہراہوں کو نئے درخت اگ کر قدرتی خوبصورتی سے سجایا جائے گا۔

سی ڈی اے کے ڈائریکٹر جنرل ماحولیات نے کہا کہ اسلام آباد دنیا میں موجود سبز دارالحکومتوں میں شامل ہے۔ لہذا ، ہمارا فرض ہے کہ اسلام آباد کی قدرتی سبزیاں برقرار رکھنے کے لئے جو بھی کام کرے اسے کرنا ہے۔

انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ پودے لگانے کی مہم ابھی جاری ہے ، اور مقامی پلانٹ پرجاتیوں کے ہزاروں پودوں کو موسمیاتی تبدیلی کی وزارت ، غیر سرکاری تنظیموں (این جی اوز) کے ساتھ ہم آہنگی کے ساتھ لگائے گئے ہیں۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ پارکوں کی خوبصورتی پر کام بھی دیکھنے والوں کو ایک نیا خوشگوار تجربہ فراہم کرنے کے لئے کیا جا رہا ہے۔ ہم فاطمہ جناح پارک کو مزید خوبصورت بنانے کے لئے بھی کوششیں کر رہے ہیں۔
