CDA to rehabilitate parts of Islamabad through Rs. 2bn project

The project includes carpeting of roads in urban areas, pavements, upgrading the drainage system, carrying out soft landscaping, and fixing streetlights.

In a meeting led by CDA Chairman Amer Ali Ahmed, the project was finalized in the presence of Member Engineering Ayaz Khan and other concerned officials. This project will cover G, F, and I residential sectors where several institutions are also located.

During the meeting, the CDA Chairman was told that the estimates for all the work to be carried out under the rehabilitation project are being prepared. The CDA Chairman in response said that the tenders should be called in October and the entire project should be completed in three months.

The CDA has earned Rs. 57 billion from the land auction in the last three months. The rehabilitation project is about investing in the city’s infrastructure.

منصوبے میں شہری علاقوں میں سڑکوں کی قالین سازی ، فرشیں ، نکاسی آب کے نظام کو اپ گریڈ کرنا ، نرم زمین کی تزئین کا کام کرنا ، اور اسٹریٹ لائٹس درست کرنا شامل ہیں۔

سی ڈی اے کے چیئرمین عامر علی احمد کی سربراہی میں ہونے والے اجلاس میں ممبر انجینئرنگ ایاز خان اور دیگر متعلقہ عہدیداروں کی موجودگی میں اس منصوبے کو حتمی شکل دی گئی۔ اس منصوبے میں جی ، ایف ، اور میں رہائشی سیکٹر شامل ہوں گے جہاں متعدد ادارے بھی واقع ہیں۔

اجلاس کے دوران ، سی ڈی اے چیئرمین کو بتایا گیا کہ بحالی منصوبے کے تحت کئے جانے والے تمام کاموں کے تخمینے تیار کیے جارہے ہیں۔ جواب میں سی ڈی اے چیئرمین نے کہا کہ اکتوبر میں ٹینڈرز طلب کیے جائیں اور یہ منصوبہ تین ماہ میں مکمل کیا جائے۔

سی ڈی اے نے گذشتہ تین ماہ میں اراضی کی نیلامی سے 57 ارب روپے کمائے ہیں ۔ بحالی منصوبہ شہر کے بنیادی ڈھانچے میں سرمایہ کاری کرنے والا ہے۔
