CDA to construct 4,400 apartments for homeless people

Board has also decided to regularize the daily wages of laborers and contact employees who meet the eligibility criteria in the light of the high court decision.  The first meeting of the newly constituted board of the CDA was held recently in the committee room of the CDA headquarters under the chairmanship of Amir Ali Ahmed.

The meeting was attended by four private members including renowned Pakistani architect Nayyar Ali Dada, Iftikhar Arif, former chairman of Academy of Literature, Vice-Chancellor Quaid-e-Azam University Dr. Muhammad Ali, and renowned architect Ali Asghar Khan. Member Admin Amir Abbas, Member Estate Naveed Elahi, and Member Engineering Syed Munawar Hussain Shah attended the meeting.

CDA Board decided to send the project regarding the construction of highways including Margla Avenue, ITN, IGP Road, and 10th Avenue to the Federal Cabinet for approval.

The issue of Green Restaurant Cafe Shops in F-9 Park was also discussed in the meeting. It was also decided to start this project under the supervision of the renowned painter Nayyar Ali Dada, who is also the designer of F-9 Park.

The project will be completed keeping in view the environmental protection of Islamabad. The meeting also approved the establishment of a Metropolitan Police in Islamabad. Initially, for this purpose, 50 Islamabad Police personnel would be taken on deputation for the existing 50 posts in the CDA’s strength.

Apart from training, they will have special uniforms and special privileges for serving employees. The force will be able to secure foreign residents, tourist destinations, trails, and also as a first respondent. It will work and at the same time provide information to the citizens about the facilities available at various places.

اسلام آباد: سی ڈی اے بورڈ نے اسلام آباد کے بے گھر افراد کے لئے 4400 اپارٹمنٹس لگانے کا فیصلہ کیا ہے۔ بورڈ نے میٹرو پولیٹن پولیس کے قیام کا بھی فیصلہ کیا ہے۔

بورڈ نے مزدوروں کی یومیہ اجرت کو باقاعدہ کرنے کا بھی فیصلہ کیا ہے اور اگر ملازمین کی اہلیت کے معیار پر روشنی ڈالنے والے ملازمین سے رابطہ کیا جائے ، اگر ہائی کورٹ کا فیصلہ ہوتا ہے۔ سی ڈی اے کے نئے تشکیل شدہ بورڈ کا پہلا اجلاس حال ہی میں امیر علی احمد کی زیر صدارت سی ڈی اے ہیڈ کوارٹر کے کمیٹی روم میں ہوا۔

اس میٹنگ میں معروف پاکستانی معمار نیئر علی دادا ، افتخار عارف ، سابق چیئرمین اکیڈمی آف لٹریچر ، وائس چانسلر قائداعظم یونیورسٹی ڈاکٹر محمد علی اور معروف معمار علی اصغر خان سمیت چار نجی ارکان نے شرکت کی۔ ممبر ایڈمن امیر عباس ، ممبر اسٹیٹ نوید الٰہی اور ممبر انجینئرنگ سید منور حسین شاہ نے اجلاس میں شرکت کی۔

سی ڈی اے بورڈ نے مارگلہ ایونیو ، آئی ٹی این ، آئی جی پی روڈ اور دسویں ایونیو سمیت شاہراہوں کی تعمیر سے متعلق منصوبے کو منظوری کے لئے وفاقی کابینہ کو بھیجنے کا فیصلہ کیا۔

اجلاس میں ایف -9 پارک میں گرین ریسٹورینٹ کیفے شاپس کے معاملے پر بھی تبادلہ خیال کیا گیا۔ اس منصوبے کو معروف مصور نیئر علی دادا کی نگرانی میں شروع کرنے کا بھی فیصلہ کیا گیا ، جو ایف 9 پارک کے ڈیزائنر بھی ہیں۔

یہ منصوبہ اسلام آباد کے ماحولیاتی تحفظ کو مدنظر رکھتے ہوئے مکمل کیا جائے گا۔ اجلاس میں اسلام آباد میں میٹرو پولیٹن پولیس کے قیام کی بھی منظوری دی گئی۔ ابتدائی طور پر ، اس مقصد کے لئے ، سی ڈی اے کی طاقت میں موجودہ 50 آسامیوں کے لئے اسلام آباد پولیس کے 50 اہلکاروں کو ڈیپوٹیشن پر لیا جائے گا۔

تربیت کے علاوہ انہیں ملازمین کی خدمت کے ل. خصوصی وردی اور خصوصی مراعات حاصل ہوں گی۔ یہ فورس غیر ملکی باشندوں ، سیاحتی مقامات ، پگڈنڈیوں اور پہلے جواب دہندہ کے طور پر بھی محفوظ بنائے گی۔ یہ کام کرے گا اور ساتھ ہی شہریوں کو مختلف مقامات پر دستیاب سہولیات کے بارے میں بھی معلومات فراہم کرے گا۔
