CDA to build 4,400 housing units and three roads

The meeting chaired by Chairman CDA Amer Ali Ahmed took important decisions including construction of apartments in AlipurFarash, the establishment of Metropolitan Police, and building three roads through the Ministry of Defence.

As per the details, the apartments would be allotted to the displaced persons of KatchiAbadis through the CDA and the beneficiaries of Naya Pakistan Housing & Development Authority through auction.

The board also decided to raise the first-ever Metropolitan Police to help the tourists and citizens. A board member said that the Metropolitan Police will be formed in collaboration with the Islamabad police and will focus on guiding and helping citizens at public places, particularly at parks and other tourist spots.

چیئرمین سی ڈی اے عامر علی احمد کی زیرصدارت اجلاس میں علی پور فراش میں اپارٹمنٹس کی تعمیر ، میٹرو پولیٹن پولیس کا قیام ، اور وزارت دفاع کے ذریعے تین سڑکیں بنانے سمیت اہم فیصلے کیے گئے۔

تفصیلات کے مطابق کچی آبادیوں کے بے گھر افراد کو سی ڈی اے کے ذریعے اور نیا پاکستان ہاؤسنگ اینڈ ڈویلپمنٹ اتھارٹی کے مستحقین کو نیلامی کے ذریعے اپارٹمنٹس الاٹ کیے جائیں گے۔

بورڈ نے سیاحوں اور شہریوں کی مدد کے لئے پہلی بار میٹرو پولیٹن پولیس کو بڑھانے کا بھی فیصلہ کیا۔ بورڈ کے ایک ممبر نے بتایا کہ میٹرو پولیٹن پولیس اسلام آباد پولیس کے اشتراک سے تشکیل دی جائے گی اور عوامی مقامات خصوصا پارکوں اور دیگر سیاحتی مقامات پر شہریوں کی رہنمائی اور مدد پر توجہ دے گی۔
