CDA to approve development projects on 14th September 2021

According to the details, PC-I of the ‘Islamabad Bus Service’ project will be presented for approval in the meeting. This project will be completed by January 2022, and the same would be operated on a zero subsidy basis.

In addition, the meeting will approve the construction of new toilets in various parks of the city keeping in view the facilities for the citizens, while in order maintain high standards of cleanliness in Islamabad.

The Department of Sanitation will be provided with modern machinery in-house, a move that will not only reduce CDA's costs but also help extend its jurisdiction to the rural areas of Islamabad.

A plan will be considered to provide modern machinery in-house to further improve the performance of the Environment Department, which will also help in the construction and repair of highways.

The meeting will also approve the widening of underpasses, flyovers, and adjoining roads on Ataturk Avenue, Sector G-5 and G-6 to ease traffic congestion in Islamabad, while Jinnah Avenue and approval will also be given for construction, repair, and renovation of highways up to Ayub Chowk Making Islamabad a smart and safe city which was approved by the CDA Board, which has been included in the agenda.

تفصیلات کے مطابق ‘اسلام آباد بس سروس’ منصوبے کا پی سی I اجلاس میں منظوری کے لیے پیش کیا جائے گا۔ یہ منصوبہ جنوری 2022 تک مکمل ہو جائے گا ، اور اسے صفر سبسڈی کی بنیاد پر چلایا جائے گا۔

اس کے علاوہ اجلاس میں شہریوں کے لیے سہولیات کو مدنظر رکھتے ہوئے شہر کے مختلف پارکوں میں نئے بیت الخلاء کی تعمیر کی منظوری دی جائے گی جبکہ اسلام آباد میں صفائی کے اعلیٰ معیار کو برقرار رکھنے کے لیے اقدامات کئے جائیں گے۔

محکمہ صفائی کو گھر میں جدید مشینری فراہم کی جائے گی ، یہ ایک ایسا اقدام ہے جو نہ صرف سی ڈی اے کے اخراجات کو کم کرے گا بلکہ اس کے دائرہ کار کو اسلام آباد کے دیہی علاقوں تک بڑھانے میں بھی مدد دے گا۔

محکمہ ماحولیات کی کارکردگی کو مزید بہتر بنانے کے لیے گھر میں جدید مشینری فراہم کرنے کے لیے ایک منصوبہ پر غور کیا جائے گا جو شاہراہوں کی تعمیر اور مرمت میں بھی مددگار ثابت ہوگا۔

اجلاس میں اسلام آباد میں ٹریفک کی بھیڑ کو کم کرنے کے لیے اتاترک ایونیو ، سیکٹر G-5 اور G-6 پر انڈر پاس ، فلائی اوور اور ملحقہ سڑکوں کو چوڑا کرنے کی بھی منظوری دی جائے گی ، اور جناح ایونیو کی تعمیر ، مرمت اور تزئین و آرائش کی منظوری بھی دی جائے گی۔ ایوب چوک تک شاہراہیں اسلام آباد کو ایک سمارٹ اور محفوظ شہر بنانا جسے سی ڈی اے بورڈ نے منظور کیا تھا ، جسے ایجنڈے میں شامل کیا گیا ہے۔
