CDA retrieves state land worth Rs2b in crackdown in Humak

In line with the directions of Prime Minister Imran Khan and on the directions of the management of the Capital Development Authority, the Department of Enforcement, with the help of the district administration and the Islamabad Police, carried out an operation against land mafia at various places in different parts of Islamabad, in which illegal buildings, houses, and other illegal structures were demolished. 

According to details, the operation was carried out in Humak Town area of Islamabad, where the CDA Enforcement Department demolished illegally-set up the pre-cast wall on more than 200 kanals of government land, six rooms, a site office, a container, a checkpoint, and a barrier using heavy machinery and retrieved government land worth more than Rs2 billion.  

Three days back, PM Imran had launched a cadastral map of Islamabad to ‘defeat qabza groups.’ Addressing the launching ceremony of the cadastral map of Islamabad here, he said the step would help curb land record tampering, ensure monitoring of construction through imagery and provide information about land ownership.

The cadastral mapping project was conceived under the vision of the Prime Minister to transform the old system into a modernized digital online system. 

The Survey of Pakistan was assigned the task of cadastral mapping. In the first phase, digitization of revenue records of three major cities: Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad, and state land data of the country will be done. The premier said there was big land grabbing groups in the country making huge money through the illegal practice.

Furthermore, the Enforcement Department, while removing encroachments around the Khanna Pull area of Islamabad, confiscated five trucks of articles.

Illegal stalls were also removed at the Bhandar stop on the Expressway.

تفصیلات کے مطابق یہ آپریشن اسلام آباد کے علاقے ہمک ٹاؤن میں کیا گیا ، جہاں سی ڈی اے انفورسمنٹ ڈیپارٹمنٹ نے 200 کنال سے زائد سرکاری اراضی پر غیر قانونی طور پر قائم پری کاسٹ وال گرا دی ، چھ کمرے ، سائٹ آفس ، کنٹینر ، چیک پوسٹ ، اور بھاری مشینری کا استعمال کرتے ہوئے رکاوٹ اور 2 ارب روپے سے زائد مالیت کی سرکاری اراضی واگزار کرائی۔

تین دن پہلے ، وزیر اعظم عمران نے 'قبضہ گروپوں کو شکست دینے' کے لیے اسلام آباد کا کیڈاسٹرل نقشہ جاری کیا تھا۔ زمین کی ملکیت کے بارے میں معلومات فراہم کریں۔

پرانے نظام کو جدید ڈیجیٹل آن لائن سسٹم میں تبدیل کرنے کے لیے وزیر اعظم کے وژن کے تحت کیڈاسٹرل میپنگ پروجیکٹ کا تصور کیا گیا تھا۔

سروے آف پاکستان کو کیڈاسٹرل میپنگ کا کام سونپا گیا۔ پہلے مرحلے میں تین بڑے شہروں کراچی ، لاہور اور اسلام آباد کے ریونیو ریکارڈ کی ڈیجیٹلائزیشن اور ملک کے سرکاری زمین کے اعداد و شمار کا کام کیا جائے گا۔ وزیر اعظم نے کہا کہ ملک میں زمینوں پر قبضہ کرنے والے بڑے گروہ ہیں جو غیر قانونی طریقوں سے بھاری رقم کما رہے ہیں۔

مزید برآں ، انفورسمنٹ ڈیپارٹمنٹ نے اسلام آباد کے علاقے کھنہ پل کے اطراف سے تجاوزات ہٹاتے ہوئے پانچ ٹرک اشیاء ضبط کیں۔

ایکسپریس وے پر بھنڈر سٹاپ پر غیر قانونی سٹالز بھی ہٹائے گئے۔
