Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has resumed the construction work on G-7/G-8 underpass at Faisal Avenue after the government announced ease in restrictions.
The authority has resumed the construction work on the underpass ensuring the SOPs issued by the government to deliver the project without further delays. Moreover, the authority has already launched the construction of the overhead pedestrian bridge at Construction Avenue.

The CDA has also implemented the traffic diversion plan in accordance and collaboration with the Islamabad Traffic Police to ensure the smooth flow of the traffic at the construction area. The commuters have also been directed to use alternate routes to reach their destinations on time.
The G-7/G-8 underpass is being constructed to address the existing traffic issues and improve the commuting in the area. After the completion of this project, the residents of G-7/G-8 will also be able to easily access other areas of the city.
