ISLAMABAD: CDA has decided to take an initiative and convert one of the capital’s recreational spots, the famous “Saidpur Village” into an amusing and attention grabber resort.
As per the information by an official of CDA, several suggestions were under consideration to implement with inputs from locals. The main concern of the project was to do important renovation and keeping up with the maintenance.
An official of CDA stated that the process of converting Saidpur Village into a multicultural and historical tourist attraction was started by the Capital Development Authority. Back in 2016, Saidpur Village was renovated as an Arts and Crafts Village by CDA with an idea of preserving its historical cultural heritage and appreciate tourism in the area.
He said Saidpur as a model village had become an attractive place for a huge number of tourists that highlights the importance of the site. He said that hundreds of tourists visit the village daily to enjoy a wide and varied spectrum of quaint buildings showcasing ancient civilizations. He added the village is now an outing point for local and foreign visitors who make their way to the village to witness the stark contrast between city and village life.

سی ڈی اے کے ایک عہدیدار کی معلومات کے مطابق ، مقامی لوگوں کی معلومات کے ساتھ عمل کرنے کے لئے متعدد تجاویز پر غور کیا گیا۔ اس منصوبے کی بنیادی تشویش اہم تزئین و آرائش اور بحالی کو برقرار رکھنا تھا۔
سی ڈی اے کے ایک عہدیدار نے بتایا کہ سید پور گاؤں کو کثیر الثقافتی اور تاریخی سیاحوں کی توجہ میں تبدیل کرنے کا عمل کیپیٹل ڈویلپمنٹ اتھارٹی نے شروع کیا تھا۔ سن A.. in میں ، سید پور گاؤں کو تاریخی ثقافتی ورثہ کے تحفظ اور اس علاقے میں سیاحت کو سراہنے کے خیال کے ساتھ سی ڈی اے کے ذریعہ آرٹس اینڈ کرافٹس ولیج کے طور پر تزئین و آرائش کی گئی تھی۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ سید پور ایک ماڈل گاؤں کی حیثیت سے سیاحوں کی ایک بڑی تعداد کے لئے ایک پرکشش جگہ بن گیا ہے جو اس جگہ کی اہمیت کو اجاگر کرتا ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ سیکڑوں سیاح روزانہ گاؤں کا رخ کرتے ہیں تاکہ قدیم تہذیب کی نمائش کرنے والی متعدد عمارتوں کے وسیع و عریض میدان سے لطف اٹھائیں۔ انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ یہ گاؤں اب مقامی اور غیر ملکی زائرین کے لئے ایک ابلاغ مقام ہے جو شہر اور دیہات کی زندگی کے درمیان بالکل تضاد کا مشاہدہ کرنے کے لئے گاؤں جاتے ہیں۔
